My app was received by CIC on Nov 7 still waiting for AOR .


No updates !

I sent docs for dependent child sponsoring forms on Dec 2nd 2018 and reached by Dec 7th 2018 to Sydney NS office. However, i tried to link application online but it is not coming in search results. Could you please help me to understand when can i link the application ?

I'm not sure that you can do any links until you have aor because you need the application number

I readed that someone has received AOR within one month.

I really don't want to wait too long!!

for me, it took 4 months. they received my application in july,i got aor in nov.

you can check on ecas with the receipt # ( the receipt which you got when you paid $1040)

If documents or fees are missing, we’ll stop processing your application and send it back to you.

If your application has all the required documents and fees, we’ll:

tell you that we started processing your application by:
email or
letter (if you don’t give us your email)
give you:
your file number
information about the next steps"
