Thats normal for apps in MVO

Been hearing about the same scenario too. As long as you received an acknowledgement, you’re still good. Sometimes the update comes a little longer..

I ordered mine on the 5th. Nothing through yet, and no news on my application since 27th of Feb with the VO move to Mississauga.

Same here.. no update since last Feb but still hoping for better progress in the coming days/weeks...

In the same boat , was asked to provide additional documents on March 14th and Apr 2nd respectively. fingers crossed.

i'm in a same boat! File received Feb 14th 2019; everything SA, BR, MR passed since April 1st but file still stuck at NS.
Have no clue what's going on!
Anyone have any theories or possible reasons to not get transfer?

No clue, but called CIC today and they said we have started BC in Sydney, NS, we will transfer to Local VO when it is done and it will be faster for them to process once your BC is completed here. I have no idea why is that different for us from others.

oh wow! are you a PA that you were able to get this info? i'm a sponsor when i called in they said they can't give me any info regarding PA's side!
I guess it's good, if they are processing a Background check but i doubt it that they are processing it in Sydney. i don't think i have ever heard a case being processes in Sydney. PA status still doesn't show up a " We started processing your file on date*** ".

How long was your application during the time you ordered gcms? Also how many months from your last update?

It's been about 2 weeks since my last update, and I ordered the notes in late march

This is a first time. I hope the agent didn’t bluff and I hope this is why we haven’t experienced file transfers yet

We received COPR in the mail today, so our application is officially complete!

I am... FRile transferred to NDVO and medical sumitted on 27thFEB... no updates thereafter...

Medical done on the 12th April .No any news yet.

Did the status change on your GCkey or ECAS?

That’s the problem...for most of us waiting for file transfers gckey says “processing your background check” but there’s no line 2 on ecas related to started processing on a particular date. If let’s say the processing hasn’t begun then why does gckey show this status in front of background check?
