What i meant was, in my case the background processing has not started. It looks like the folks whose background process has not started have not received the transfer email.

I keep getting confused on bgc. How do you know yours hasn’t started? Is it because there is no line 2 on ecas or your gckey bgc status doesn’t say ‘processing’?

That’s what i have since feb but my file hasn’t transferred yet so the assumption about bgc not starting thus file not transferring aint correct i suppose

i could possible mean that they are processing your/our background check here in canada.
According to CIC agent my Criminality and Medical passed but Eligibility and Security isn't started yet.

Thanks! Best thing I’ve done is switch off the last few weeks and try to just let it roll. Wishing luck to everyone else waiting now

I just called 1888 242 2100,

Since February they are being silent. I asked if they have transferred our file yet. The agent said not yet, we don’t have to necessarily transfer it to another VO, it can be all done in NS. I’m so confused. Please help. On the online tool it says background check in process.
