Hi Guys,

We have applied 22nd November 2017. We did our test in March and it took them till October to change our status to decision made. Still waiting for the Oath letter. We have applied from Toronto. Is there anyone here having the same issue?

I called them one time and they didn't help me at all unless telling me to wait it will come.
Applied on the same day as you but I did my test on October 4th. No update yet. Will be a year next week. Hopefully an oath invite by then. You have waited this long, just a bit more. Patience my friend :)

I sent mine November 24th. I did the test on 10th of May and my application still is in process. I emailed the citizenship center in Vancouver again couple of days ago and they told me same thing (Your background check is not complete).
Many are in that boat, just it is not important for them when they would become citizen.

As far as I know, for some nationalities like Iranians, the status remains ''in process'' in order to do background check for a long time.

Dear Friends, We have received our Oath Letter after around 1 Year. We became DM on 17 of September and after two months on Saturday, we received the oath letter. So it should be a computer sending the oath after two months from DM. We applied 22 November 2017 and we did the test on 12 of March 2018.

Thank you for all the comments and helps.wish you all the best wishes.
