Sorry to say, but once you received an AOR then the verification stage/process starts.
Verification Stage would take time and it depends on the country you put on your application.
For example, Saudi Arabia (though I am a Filipino) Verification Stage would take 46 freak'n months.
Then 1~3 months for the Preliminary Stage and 1~9 months for the Selection Stage.
And to think this is a first come first serve basis. And as of now, in some forums Dec 2013 Applicants already had some updates and starts to receive their CSQs.
I lodge our application last March 2014 and still waiting and more likely for 2015/2016 applicants would have no choice but to wait. And to think this is a first come first serve basis.

By the way, my wife and I still waiting for that CSQ since we received the AoR last July 2014.
