Don't worry well it seems to be pretty fast no more than 3 weeks but sometimes even faster.

What I am not sure is if Quebec sends the CSQ directly to the embassy or we have to send it ourself?
Feb, have you received QC selection certificte?

Finally i got SA today!!! My application was received November 12th so im one of the last ones on the list.
Most are getting their SA in 80 days or so, mine was 114 days.
I never received an AOR email, just the approval.

Thanks everyone for their help. If other are on my situaton, make sure you call CIC once only after your date has passed on their website, and they will tell you they will file a report. Apart from that theres nothing else you can do and no point to keep calling them, just wait, maybe you will get the SA like me without the AOR.
So it seems from 80 days to 114 thats how much more they take and is normal.

Again thanks and good luck to last ones waiting for SA.
Does anyone know in how many days after SA everyoene is able to access account online?
Thanks

Well cic got my app nov 18th...on january they requested a missing doc which we sent back, one week ago we got AOR and them 3 days ago SA...We were so happy BUT they transfered the app to havana!!!
and here is the deal "I dont live in cuba!!!" im a cuban citizen but i live in miami since 3 years ago!!! and im actually in canada since agoust!!!!
That stupid officer of cic what was he thinking!!!! how the hell am i gonna go to an interview in cuba or pick up the call when I Dont Live there!!!!!!

cic normally chooses to process the application based on the applicant's CITIZENSHIP, not necessarily where they are holding residence. if you don't have current residence in the us (since you say you are in canada since august), then you can't expect your application to be processed as if you are a us resident. Do you have a green card, a current work visa for the US? if you were living there for 3 years and left, CIC's assumption is probably that you don't have curent status in the US, so that is why CIC decided to process your application based on your citizenship. Your citizenship is cuban, so that is where your application is meant to be processed. it is easier for CIC to process the application where the person is from because it requires CIC to receive information from your country of citizenship throughout the process. Generally, it's easier for the visa office in that country to get information than it is for a visa office outside the country of citizenship. CIC has the final say, so that's all there really is to it. Also, stats on this forum suggest that US residents don't necessarily see the same processing time as US citizens. again, if your application was sent to OTtawa based on US residency, how quickly it processes would depend on how quickly they would be able to verify checks made to/from cuba.

Im a green card holder since oct 12-2012..
I LIVE in the USA Ive been here in Canada coming and going since agoust(visiting) but my address and residence is in miami!
Cubans once we leave cuba most cant come back the officer should do his research before before sending the app and Again I LiVE in the usa as a green card holder
im gonna fax them mail them email them until they do something about it because its terribly wrong.
1-cant go to cuba 2-how the hell will get the comunication now? 3-if they keep it there they will be no interview because they will be freaking kidding me if they will interview a cuban living in miami when most times they give the visa to cubans(living in cuba) with no interview

then yes, if that's the case, i would recommend contacting cic and requesting a transfer. i'm not sure how well that will go over at the cuban office though. at this point, it may be a good idea to get the sponsor's mp involved. they may have an easier time with the "politics" of it all. also, CIC must respond to MP requests. they don't have to respond to yours. Also, find the Havana thread. it's pretty active, and people there may be able to guide you about whether this is "normal". you may find a majority of applicants are waived the interview.

thank you for your advice, ill do that.
the canadian embassy is a joke..i would laugh in their faces if they interview me,i applied there back when i lived in cuba 3 times and got refused to visit canada on the basis of "you have no travel experience"
after a got a little gren card, that made me an elite human being,a better one,,,this world is freaking crazyyyyy

File transferd to london vo i cant wait 29 monhts :(

you are not going to wait 29 months. go to the london thread and ask to add yourself to the spreadsheet. you will see most people are approved in probably 10ish months.
