I think the information on the website is inacurrate and they do that intentionally so that people don't call and bug them so much.

Right now they are working on application received pass Mid november, and website states Nov 6th.

Hello November applicants,
I have a question for all of you, I hope you can help me.
I am a Nov 12th applicant and I still havn't received an AOR, so I am getting quite worried. Here's what worries me.
My family and I immigrated to Canada in 2002, so that is when we all got a UCI number. The thing is that I COMPLETELY forgot to consider this while filling out the applications and I left the spaces for the UCI number blank.
i read on other topics that it is not a big deal since a lot of people simply loose or throw away their imigration papers after a while (as we did), but it still makes me anxious because I did not provide a separate sheet of paper explaining my situation.
Do you think that I should contact them and might this be a reason for a delay of my AOR??

Seems some are getting AOR with applications sent on Nov 17..i sent mine on Nov 12th and still nothing!! Is this gap normal? like the spreadsheet keeps filling dates and nothing with my application

cic won't do anything until the sponsor is beyond the posted processing date on the website.

it is common for applications to be approved "out of order".

a) the applications are batched by months, not necessarily by day.
b) an officer probably isn't going to receive applications on their desk that represent every single day in a said month, since the work load is split amongst more than 1 officer.
c)each officer has their own level of ability to process applications in a certain amount of time. certainly there will be differences in the length it takes different officers to finish their work.
d) just because the website says it's processing applications for a certain date, it certainly doesn't mean ALL applications received before that date are finished processing or even open.
e) each application is unique. how quickly it takes cic to process an application depends on the information provided and how easily and quickly cic can confirm the information provided.
