It's been a long time and I wonder if anyone is having the same case like me?

There are many people waiting from the Aug, September . so Many people is the answer

One more question, if I get a job offer from another company during my CEC application, is it gonna effect my entire application? Do I need to re-submit all the documents for them?

No, Just inform them about your new job... thats it. Its has no impact on your application

Guys what u think about the idea of upfront medicals. Do you think it will save 2-3 week in application process

I thought about upfront medicals but I have a friend who is a consultant and she adviced not to go that route but I am confused on that
In your case since you need to join new job November 1 .. May be you can go for upfront medicals

Can you tell me what reason she told for not to go for upfront medicals

Sending you a PM

Since you have a very tight timeline, I suggest that you do upfront medicals. Also check this thread for other opinions.

Well
Yahoo 7.. I know everyone including me is so stressed regarding CEC already that I don't want to give further reasons to worry.. Doing upfront medicals is a choice which depends on indicidual cases .. Gladaki has a situation where he needs to join a new job by nov 1.. But that's not the case for everyone but still I can copy the reason here ..
My friend files CEC applications for various clients and based on her experience... She thinks VO are getting more strict these days with recent changes effective January 2013.. Anyone with one year experience can file under CEC ... So more applications means more chances of refusal
She suggested me to just go with the regular process rather than coming in lime light that why did this person go for upfront medicals when we never requested those yet originally and they start looking for minute details in Your appication
Again that's her opinion not mine and I am stil confused whether or not we should go for upfront medicals to save 2-3 weeks and put our 8-10 months at stake

CAN any one plz suggest whether ECAS will change the status from application received to In process once you get the medical or it will change once CIC gets your Medicals?

As far as i Know My lawyer got some correspondence on my file, but i do not know what it is about.. and i tried to call them and they already left for the day and now I'm worried what's all about that communication from CIC.

Please clarify about the ECAS status.

Thanks in advance

For most of people after medicals it update to processing or some time its decision made...u really should not worry abt it

I'd to worry if it's decession made because it no medical and ECAS shows decession made then most cases it's rejection..
SO let me see tomorroe whether it's good nes or bad news... my NOC is 2174... but who knows...

If you have already did your Medicals than no need to worry.. But if Decision Made is without Medicals than its Rejection.
sometimes ECAS change to Medicals received without saying In process..
