Yea I got my manager to make a whole new one with detailed work duties. I then added an explanation in the email I sent

But my lawyer asked not to send an updated letter coz might
Jeopardize your case ..the officer wrote it looks
I do more managerial duties then supervisor
So if i change or add more duties will have
A negative impact on my file.so i have sent them
An explanation stating that my employer did
Not specify all duties in a detail .and i have added
2 more duties which i was missing

Hi I have been always a CD-ROM and I also applied nov 2012 cec .
here is my status and a few question.

Received application: Nov 7, 2012
AOR: Jan 2, 2013
Medical request: Nov 1st, 2013
RPRF and Biodata request: Nov 1st, 2013

And now my questions are:

I have always worry about my working experience wont be eligible to apply cec ( 2 years of experience as a accounting bookkeeper ); but they have sent me the RPRF and medical request on Friday by email, is that mean the working experience part has gone through smoothly?

I realized that the address of the email showed the old address and I already changed it through the status checking website( which the website changed, but not the email from NOV 1st), does it mean it will be changed or I will need to submit them some other paper work to show my new address?

Also, I havent done the police check yet, neither the one in Canada or my home country (hong kong), should I still do it before they request so it wont be postpone?

Last question, I recently change my job to a bank as a call center position which I havent inform the government yet, should I do it, if yes, how?

Hi Friends

Today I have received my passport with immigration VISA and planning to land on Wednesday, 6 Nov. 2013. However I have noticed an error in my COPR, ie. my original entry and last entry is written as the same.

My last entry (May, 3, 2011) is also given as my original entry to Canada. My original entry was on Nov.12, 2010.

My question is, should i E. mail CIC about this error and land on Wednesday? Or should i wait to hear from CIC and land after that.

How can i correct this error?

Got my medical request today, but they also sent me one for my ex common law partner. Sent them a request back in June to have her removed from my application :-[ , guess I should sent them an email again and request her removal from my application (although it would be the second time) and ask for a refund for her fee. Would that do the trick?

My doctor confirms my medical results were sent to CIC on 26th Oct but ecas status is yet to be updated. Anybody on same boat as me? My friend who did his medicals in the same week after me has got his status updated last week itself, so I am little worried.

but haven't got the passport request yet.. little worried.

why would you be worried if your E-CAS changed to decision made after the medical has been requested and done(its a good sign and instead you should be celebrating).just wait for your turn like others and bear in mind they are(cpp-ottawa) processing many applications not just yours.also you should feel fortunate at this point since there are applicants from septembre and october still waiting for their medical requests.
you are almost done just hang in there and you will be granted a permanent resident status yay.

Yes, same here. Uploaded on Oct, 25 , no ECAS status update yet.
