I'm still watching this thread with interest. We got our COPR (for my wife) back in March but haven't landed yet. Our situation has been ten times easier than most of you because we've been together the whole time. In just over two weeks we're moving to Canada together and will go through what I hope will be an easy landing procedure. There's lots of work to be done getting ready to fly 'home.'

Im still here browsing, they emailed me too say that my application is in process but my cic status has not changed. We have been living together in the UK for about 2 years now and were flying to Canada next week for a 6 week holiday which includes us flying to Jamaica for our wedding ceremonies so both our families can attend to so we can all celebrate together with 150+ of us flying over...

Hope i get good news question is, if they request my passport and i'm on travel during that time, do i need to fly to Canada to get it finalised in a time frame or i can go to Canada whenever?

I'd say you have so many days to send your passport. I'm not sure, though.
When did you process went to "In Process"?

Hi!

Are you from a visa exempt country? If so, London doesn't send a passport request, when a decision is made (given it's an approval) they will just mail your COPR to you Your COPR will have a date written on it and you have to land on or before that date.

Hiya Brazil,

It was not a easy task been planning this for over a year, still got family members saying their coming but its too late now lol..

I just checked as yesterday it still said (Medical File received November 14) and now it says "In Process" (We started processing your application on July 16, 2013.)

Oh gosh so we have days left to send the passport? Part of me is hoping they don't give me DM until were back in the country

This is our timeline so far...

Application sent to CIC - Nov 7th, 2012
Application recieved CIC - Nov 9th, 2012
Sponsorship approval - Jan 28th, 2013
File transfered to VO Mex - Jan 28th, 2013
Undertaking sent - Feb 7th, 2013 (Quebec Only, CSQ)
Application recieved - Feb 9th, 2013 (Quebec Only, CSQ)
Payment processed - Feb 18th, 2013 (Quebec Only, CSQ)
Undertaking approved - March 6th, 2013 (Quebec Only, CSQ)

And that's it... still on cic.gc.ca when i check the application status, it only says "Application Received" and when i click on it, it only says "Medical results have been received"

But I believe they will end the strike very soon. Both parts got to talk yesterday to get into an agreement. I hope they get to agree on something very soon!

My friends... OUR WAIT IS OVER!

Hubby's parents got his PR package in the mail TODAY! They're going to FedEx it over and we should have it in the next week!

(PS Our ecas is still showing "In Process")

I have been a friggin trainwreck all morning... never was I so excited to leave the gym to 3 missed calls and 15 text messages from my husband LOL.

But just to understand, did your husband get PPR or COPR? I hope is COPR!!!!

In London, it is always signed with ACD/ CDD, so I guess it is the VO processing the file at the time or at least responding to the email/ message.

If you look in the details of the .pdf sponsor approval letters you can sometimes find the actual name of the officer who approved sponsorship (from when the Adobe software was registered to that officer).
