Hey Kakelynlc!
Congratulations to you guys!!
But just to understand, did your husband get PPR or COPR? I hope is COPR!!!! :D

BTW people, as I have nothing to do, I decided to make a Pie Chart, showing the percentage of how many people is at each Stage. ;D

'tis a lovely pie chart! Nicely done!

Hurray for our side!!!! Our Ecas changed to Decision Made this morning :D After a two month delay because the passport request didn't get to us, things have moved really fast since. Does anyone know how long it "normally" takes for the COPR to hit the mail system? (and I use the term "normally" knowing I'm talking about CIC here)..

We are SO happy...what a great way to start the week.
so you have summbitted your pasport on june? a month after your ppr?..

We never received the original PPR request, that they said they sent on May 8. We had ordered our GCMS notes, and when we got them on July 8, we seen a note that said they had requested the passport. We contacted our MP and they made an inquiry for us. CIC told them we needed to send the scan of the passport directly to Ottawa. We sent it on July 10 and our e-cas went to Decision Made on July 15.

May 8 must have been a bad day for Ottawa. I received my PPR on May 8 and send the scan of my passport within an hour and received an automated acknowledgment of receipt. After not haring anything for over a month, I emailed them and they had the gall to tell me that they never received it. I resent it on June 14 and got both an automatic and case specific acknowledgment of receipt. My ECAS status is still "Application Received".

Yeah, well my family got PPR on March 4, we responded right away (by courier, because they requested photos, saying we didn't send them when actually Mississauga lost them), and we're still waiting even now, so my expectations are very low!!! And I've just about run out of patience!

Decision made!! Yahoo!! :)

With photographs, my husband and I scanned about 4 photographs on each page and included the following information:
Who is in the photo, where it was taken and when it was taken. We also grouped our photos in categories that followed a chronological order.

Make it easy as possible on the VO as they probably do not want dozens of loose photographs.

I agree with this advice - we printed about 20-25 photos on cheap photo paper, and labelled the back with the date, location, and identified who was in the photo.

I also printed average of 4 photos per A4 pages. Print the date, where we were, who took the picture. Also, remember to write your name and DOB on each page. I also numbered each page in chronological order, from 2010 to now.
Total of 77 pages of photos!
