What?!? 4.000 for what?!? It seems all of they want is people's money, but they don't actually give a F*** about us.
Nice, take your process to your own hands! And I believe that if you have any questions, someone here will be more that happy to help you!
Cheers!

Yes darling 4000.00 is correct...my hubby worked his bum off and paid him. Basically he filled out our application for us mailed it express mail, took my husband to immigration to give him his plane ticket he overstayed in the country. Other than that he hasn't done anything else for the 4000. The 1050 I believe for the application fee was in the 4000 he paid. I still need to pay the 490 for the landing fee. I will be changing the mailing address from the lawyers office to my address. I couldn't believe he had the nerve to tell my husband that him and I will need to do a interview. Like really how would he know this does he actually work at the visa office? Lol only they can judge if our marriage is genuine. I know deep down there won't be a interview our pictures says it all were in love. I have tried to contact the lawyer he just wants to run me of the phone telling me that my hubby will be back in 8-10 month he's all bs. Gets me so upset ugh.

Congrats on sponsorship approval and getting PPR. There's not much going on recently. How many more days or months should we wait. Almost run out of patience.

congratulations on the passport request Mevakesh... i was brainstorming this morning, and thinking about passport requests and came up with a good question that has more than likely been asked before on this thread or another thread lol, butttt..... does anyone know what happens if you have a planned vacation to go visit your spouse, and they request your passport within those days that you're supposed to go visit? what would you do then? you need the passport to travel in between countries, so do you just notify them somehow that you have a planned trip and they allow you to hold off on sending it out until the trip is over??

You have 45 days to hand in your passport, but I think since your American you might only have to scan your passport and send that.

Today, I received an email from the Kyiv embassy as a reply to an enquiry we sent about the status of where exactly our papers are. They told us our papers were received March 11th. And, our papers were still not being reviewed yet by an officer. SO - it took roughly a month for the papers to arrive since being forwarded by CIC mississauga. This is nice news for us. The email said there is an average of 9 months for their visa office to process our application. We're still praying hard that she will have this visa in June. Call us crazy or fanatical, but we'd prefer to be called a couple of faith. All the best to everybody here!
