Hi Lena,
Aor is acknowledgement of reciept. Not everyone gets one for stage 1 or 2. Not everyone on the spreadsheet has been on the forum or advised, if they have had an update. Dont be nervous. Because there is no rhyme or reason to how CIC works, better to just be patient.

Thank you Ms Malawi =)

Hello everyone, it's been quiet here recently. I have a question and hoping that someone can help me with it. Our application package was forwarded to LVO in January 23/13 for Stage 2 processing. However, my husband's physical and mailing address has changed last month as well. How do we inform CIC about it? He does not have a Client number yet so I guess I can call them to make the change? Any input will be greatly appreciated.

My stage one AOR letter from Mississauga contains the following paragraph:

When should I contact CIC?
You must notify CIC of any changes to your application. Examples of changes include:
• Changes in your personal circumstances, such as birth or adoption of a child, a marriage or a divorce
• Change of contact information (e-mail, mailing address, telephone number)
• Appointment or change of immigration representative or designated individual
• Decision to withdraw your application

To notify CIC of changes to your application you may contact this office at the address identified below. You may also contact the Call Centre, toll-free, at 1-888-242-2100. Changes to your address may be made through our online service at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/change-address.asp.

Our stage 2 AOR from our Visa office contains the same information, but instead includes the contact information for our local VO instead of Mississauga. If I were you would call Mississauga first and see what they advise. Not sure if you could put in YOUR UCI number into the online address changing service or not. If the Mississauga folks aren't helpful, I'd certainly contact your VO: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/missions/london.asp

It has been quiet around here lately . . . I've been checking. Hopefully the thread lights up with all kinds of progress for everyone soon!

Thanks Grzybek...I'll try to give them a call tomorrow :)

Ho hum. Another week, another "We received hubby's application for permanent residence on November 16, 2012." I honestly have the wording memorized now.

Hi Oneandonly.. Hows Hubby and his sister doing? Ready for your trip? I quite enjoy the excitment and movement in KG these days.. so much more exciting than Pretoria!! Can't think of anyone on here going through Pretoria at the moment.. so ya.. nothing to really base it on! I am good.. counting down to a short break to Malawi again!
