Patiently waiting for the good news.

US Citizen applying with spousal sponsorship for Quebec
11/21/12 sent off Application Spousal sponsor for US citizen ouside Canada
11/23/12 shows received application
11/29/12 Spousal portion accepted sent to CPP-O for further processing

Originally applied as Skilled Worker 5/11 received my SK CSQ 10/12 hoping they do not require us to apply for spousal csq as we were just married 7/12.

No medical yet because I went on 11/1/12 and they just changed the rules to have the new forms with bar codes, so waiting for the request for medical.

Could you please add me to the Nov spreadsheet

lol uh oh... no staples? i stapled lots of things together. like forms that had more than 1 page to them, and i stapled all phone bills together so they didnt get mixed up. hope staples aren't an issue for any reason at all. i printed out all my photos on paper, they were in collages or four with captions typed under each of them. i put all the sponsor stuff together with its corresponding supporting documents and the same with the permanent residency application, put a cover sheet on put and paper clipped each pile seperately but no envelopes. i jsut left it in the box as is. there was also a couple last minute things i threw in there that might be a bit out of order but i figured they would be able to tell what it is... also when i got my 4 immigration pictures done.... i didn't know if there was a specific place that it needed to be done at or what so i just went to a drugstore photo center where the guy hacked up the edges of the photos trying to cut them and didn't write on thing on the back, but thats the one thing i curious about, does anything need to be written on the back? or would it just say so in the country specific guides?

im JUST at 35 days now, im going to wait until they change the processing times one last time and if its past my date then i will calll... but the problem is i cannot call the CIC help centre from the states : ( anyone know how to get a hold of CIC when youre in the states??

We sent our documentation of on the 26th of October. I imagine they would have recieved it end of oct/early Nov. Silly Husband sent it express (good) but didnt take note of the tracking number (the silly part). We haven't recieved AOR yet or any confirmation at all. Its starting to play at the back on my mind. Any confirmation would put my mind at ease. Patience patience. I see they are processing ones at the end of Oct and take ~35 days. If I havent heard anything by the end of next week, I might start enquiring.

I might be a bit of a simple minded goose, but when I click on the link that RM15 has on his signature for the spread sheet nothing comes up just a blank internet explorer site. I would like to the added to the spread sheet ect. Any tips ect to help me out. Ta :)

that's bizarre indeed, try this one and let me know if it works https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AvI5l_hMO7UKdEdfaUlQa2hWLTExdGhCUHM0ZWFOUFE#gid=0

Anyway - I can add you to the spreadsheet if you'd like, jsut post here the follwing info:
VO? medicals done? I'll put approximate date received 2nd November, and when you get the sponsorship approval they'll tell you the date it was received and it can always be changed later on.

You're added! congrats on the super fast approval, it seems that the three applicants that got the approval were more or less received the same day, maybe an officer in a good mood that day!
For the CSQ - I have no idea if you have to have another one or not, but anyway it doesn't take long ( about a month) and your file still goes to Ottawa in the meantime, so it doesn't really change anything.

Also - there is an Ottawa thread if you feel like joining them http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/cppottawa-t118769.300.html
Good luck for the rest of the application,
Sweden

I had the same dilemmas about pictures and asked questions about that on these forums a couple of times.. the answers were all over the place. Consensus seemed to be "do whatever it says on your Country Specific Guide" and ours (for USA) didn't say anything at all, so I left the back blank. Just wrote my husband's name on the small envelope his picture were in and his son's name on his envelope. We couldn't find anywhere here in the Seattle (or Phoenix area where my step-son lives) to do the specific immigration size photos so we used www.epassportphoto.com (recommended by someone on this forum) that does the correct size/porportions, and did them ourselves.

I think this post tells you how to call CIC from the US http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/cic-call-center-number-from-us-t41045.0.html

Keep us posted!
