Taking in consideration the long wait period for the nomination from NS, what happens if the IELTS test expires?
For instance, I am November applicant, and withe the recent delays in the processing time, the approximate due date for the nomination is October. My IELTS results expire in December, and therefore my EE profile would be ineligible.
Any suggestion.
If I would not receive an nomination before December should I retake the exam, and then create new EE profile, or update the existing profile?

Like me, you would have to schedule a new IELTS exam, and get a new score card.

I've already taken the exam, and updated my express entry profile with it.

As you said urs will expire and December, try and schedule a date to october or november for your new test. Don't worry about it now though. Wait until late july, early august, and try to book your new test by then. As far as I know, NS will have to accept your ielts, even if it's expired, because you sent your application way before the expiration date. But, you'll still need a valid test for CIC. And it doesn't matter if it isn't the same score card you sent to NS, as long as you have the necessary score, you'll be fine. But most definitely you'll need to book a new test.

If your EE profile is still valid by december, just update it. If it expires, create a new one and add the new scores. If it expires before u get nominated, NS will ask you for your new EE and job seeker validation code numbers.

I got CLB 9 in a recent IELTS exam. So do I need to send the updated test form to NS or wait until they send me pre-AOR? Will they accept my new test result since it will add some points according to NS criteria.

Hi,
You should send the update when they send your Pre-AOR. If you get minimum score, I dont think is different to get more points coz they check the application based on first come-first served.

Presently they are taking around 11 months to process.

Around 11 months? Just few applicants. Be patient!

I am sorry but I didn't prepare much for the exam. My major was English.

As I know, you dont need a new IELTS result for NS even if its expired unless NSOI ask for a new one. But after nomination you need a valid IELTS result for EE & CIC .

I have heard that idp result is far better in comparison to british council. The latter does strict checking in relation to grammar and vocab.

That's riduculous. My wife took IELTS twice, one through BC, the other IDP. The result of BC was higher...

OK, so you mean that there's no hope for me to add more points? :-[
I am worrying that they may deduct some points of my working experience, so if they can accept my new IELTS score, that will make it up.
