well after arguing with the call center agent for 40 mins she finally told me all my background verification are done! and just waiting for the residence questionnaire. hoping to get my test letter soon!

Today 16/01/2014 received the CIC letter to appear for Citizenship test date on 23th January 2014 at 8:15am

Therefore relax friends you all will soon get the test date.

My time line applied for Citizenship on April 2012

July 2012..........confirmation received with Citizenship test booklet

June 2013........Request form CIC Sydney to reconfirm and send all the address

July 2013........Received RQ

August 2013 .......Submitted RQ with lots of documents

December 2013..........Received Notice to Prepare for test

16/01/2014..............Date to appear for the Citizenship test on 23th January 2014 at 8:15 am

Feels good when I see the REQ cases are moving forward! I too received similar letter "Notice to Prepare For Your Citizenship Exam" on Dec 23, 2013. Keeping my fingers crossed and waiting for the next acknowledgement from CIC.

I am a recipient of Residence Questionnaire.

I applied for my grant of application on May 2012.

Application got started processing on October 2012.

Then I got the residence questionnaire that I replied with all the documents, probably in December 2012.

Then I received this "Notice to Prepare for your citizenship exam" dated 18th December 2013.

Today I received letter in purple pages (why me in purple and my wife in pink) dated January 16th "Notice to Appear - To write a citizenship test and for verification of identity/documents" on 4th February at 1:00 pm at 25 St. Clair Ave East, 10th Floor, Toronto. However, this doesn't show on my status when I check it online at Canadian immigration site.

The funny thing is: I sponsored my wife and she applied for citizenship two months after I did. AND she is already a citizen now. She had her test in November 2013 in Mississauga, ON. And the exact next week she had her oath. Ha! Ha! Wish me luck... Thank you
