Hello all.
I'm hoping someone can help me with information in regards to my mother's situation. I'm currently a Permanent Resident (applied for citizenship and waiting). My mother landed with me in Toronto in 2009, she stayed for only two weeks and left. Her PR card expired in 2014 and obviously she didn't meet any of the residency requirements.
My question is, is it possible for her to give up her PR status and then I apply for a super visa for her so she can visit me? Would they let her come in as a visitor? She doesn't want to live in Canada but she does want to be able to visit me every now and then.
Any info is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
