For IMM 5409 (common-law declaration): if you're applying under a provincial nominee program in one province (e.g. Alberta) but you're physically in another province (e.g. BC) when you sign, can you have it commissioned by a notary/commissioner in that other province, or does IRCC need it done in your province of residence?

Application status was showing "medical passed 10th July 2025" but now its disappeared even at the Review of medical results space. Please anyone here with such experience? I'm an outland applicant.

I think as follows:
Please note that it is normal for certain sections of your online account, including “Review of medical results”, to appear or disappear during routine system updates or when your application is moving between processing stages. This change does not indicate a problem with your file.

Because you have already completed two medical examinations and your most recent one was valid until 10 July 2026, your results remain on file even if the line is not currently visible in your account. When an officer requires your medical information during the next stage of processing, it will be reviewed internally.

At this time, no action is required from you unless IRCC contacts you directly with a new request.

If you would like confirmation specific to your application, you may submit a webform and an agent can review your file.

My application has been in process for about 27 months now, with around 9 months under comprehensive security/background screening. All other assessments appear to be completed, but security is still in progress.

Just trying to understand real timelines from people who went through something similar.

Comprehensive screenings can take years. After a few years and if your security hasn’t been passed/failed you have the option to pursue mandamus.

Tried everything reached MP , raised webforms , called IRCC , ordered GCMS notes 3 times and its says file approved and authorized for landing

And now its been 42 weeks my copr details on tracker and medical validity both expired

I cant afford lawyers fees so what i have to do what step i can take more if available please suggest

When i hear issues like this it scares me, I also applied in April 2024 without any military background, no travel history, no visa application to any country. This is my first time applying for something close to Visa. My pre arrival was since Sept 2025. Indeed everyone's application process is different.
