Yes, you can track and interact with your Permanent Residence (PR) application even if it was submitted by a representative, but there are some limitations depending on how your representative is set up in the application.
1.
Tracking Your PR Application Status
You have two main ways to track your PR application personally
a.
Client Application Status (CAS) Tool

• Visit: https://onlineservices-servicesenligne.cic.gc.ca/ecas
• You can log in using:
  • Your UCI number (Unique Client Identifier)
  • Your surname, date of birth, and place of birth
• 
  
• This will show basic status updates (e.g., “In process,” “Medical passed,” etc.

b.
IRCC PR Tracker (for non-Express Entry only)

• Visit: https://prt-srp.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login
• You need to sign up with:
  • Your UCI number
  • Your application number (usually starts with Rxxxxxxxxx)
  • Information like your date of birth and passport number
• 
  
• This tracker provides more detailed updates (biometrics, medicals, eligibility, security, etc.)

If you don’t have your application number because your representative is not sharing it, you may have to ask them for it to access the tracker.
2.
Submitting Documents or Updates to IRCC
If your representative is currently authorized and listed on your application, then

• Only the representative is expected to communicate with IRCC on your behalf.
• If you submit something directly (e.g., through a webform), IRCC might ignore it or forward it to your rep.

Your Options:
1: Work through your representative. Ask them to submit on your behalf.

• Option 2: Cancel the representative (if you prefer full control). To do this:
  • Submit IMM 5476E – Use of a Representative to remove the current representative.
  • You can then manage your application personally via webform or GCKey (if applicable).

Winnipeg is the worst office of IRCC. My background check was changed to in progress on April 30, 2024, still in progress. Many are stuck in the Winnipeg office doing background checks.

You are not wrong with that. My background check is stuck in Winnipeg as well. There must be something fishy with that office honestly, literally everyone is complaining about Winnipeg office.

Hi Guys,
If any one could help by answering, I'll be grateful.

I applied under OID stream from Sinp and have been nominated already. I filed my details in non express entry portal this Feb.

I'm about to resign the organisation in India and would like to know if I need to further communicate it to Sinp or Federal government.
