So this is weird I distinctly remember writing none in the Section G but after submission in the preview of the form of Section G seems like this in the screenshot.

@Miss bee:
I applied for Permanent Residency through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) last year, but my PNP is restricted. Given these circumstances, could you guide me on how to apply for an Open Work Permit or a Bridging Open Work Permit?
My contract with my current employer is ending soon, and no extension is possible. I have 2 to 3 months remaining on my current work permit. Please advise on the steps I should take to transition from my closed work permit to an Open Work Permit or a Bridging Open Work Permit.
Additionally, if the organization provides me with a layoff letter, can I use this letter to request a support letter from the province, which might assist me in obtaining a Bridging Open Work Permit?

No only option is to apply for closed work permit. Maybe your PR application will be processed and approved before your current PGWP expires.
My employer has agreed to apply for a closed work permit while I wait for my PR application to be processed/approved. I have a few questions.

1. What is the link to the employer portal to apply for the closed work permit?
2. What's the path to renew my wife's work permit? She's on SOWP based on my PGWP and it's expiring in March 2025.
3. Are closed work permit processing times the same as open work permits?

Unfortunately if you have employer restrictions on your nomination certificate, you can’t apply for BOWP or Open work permit. Only option is closed work permit.

Link for employer compliance https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...rtners-service-providers/employer-portal.html
2. Once you will receive close permit, and your job is NOC B you can apply spousal based open permit. (or you can send parallel file of your wife as well with yours)
3. Processing times are same for open closed and extension of WP.
Hopefully this will help.

Very helpful, thanks!

I was reading about it and I want to make sure I got this right. My employer has to submit an offer of employment in the employer portal, get a code, and provide me that code so I can submit my closed work permit application. Is that the right process?

Yes, please attach receipt as well. Or you can attach confirmation email.

Thanks, will do.

And another question:

I was watching some videos on how to fill in the forms for the offer of employment application because my HR manager wants to go through it together (they've never done this). There's one field that says "expected start date of employment". I am already working for the company, have been working for over 2 years. What are they suppose to put here?

You can put a date when your permit is expiring. If its already expired you can same date you're applying on.

Good day yall. I have just noticed that I forgot to attach backside(DOB, Date of pic taken, Photostudio name, etc) of my Digital photo.

Would it be okay If I submit the webform and only attach the receipt of it? (,before I receive my AOR).
