Hi. How do you know this?
My security check is started on Jan 2, 2024, and in notes it shows blank. I didn’t see any “not started” or “in progress”, can I be under comprehensive security check?

Check Application Status Tracker: https://ircc-tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/en for the info I mentioned. if you have ordered IRCC notes, blank Security can mean either in progress or Completed. I would suggest ordering CBSA notes for more information

If this is for your PR card, would suggest to get a digital one from Shoppers Drug Mart (or other professional services). You don't want a scanned picture as it may be either too dark or too light or low resolution. You only need the front picture for PR card application.

I applied for PR through the non-Express Entry inland process. I received a request for additional documents for a new passport because my current passport will expire within six months. I applied online for the new passport, but I haven't received it yet, and the submission deadline is approaching. It may take some time. What should I do now? Please guide me.

If you didn’t received new passport within timeframe they given , you should send webform to ask for extension and should attach proof that your passport is on processing stage and let them know that you will send it asap . Attach as much as proof that you have applied and it is processing yet .

You can leave Canada anytime but for returning to Canada, you have to apply for PRTD if you want to return to Canada. TRV becomes invalid when you get ECOPR.

Hello everyone, I need help with a non-express entry application.

Question 1: On form IMM 5669 under the background section, it's important not to have any gaps, but I have the following doubt if anyone else has experienced this, I would appreciate your help.

Applicant: If I've worked in different companies over the past 10 years, should I also include the vacations I took, or just include the jobs? For example:

• Worked from January 2021 to December 2021 at company YYY
• Vacation at company YYY: July 15, 2021, to July 31, 2021
• Vacation at company YYY: September 5, 2021, to September 9, 2021

How should I fill out the background history, should I only list the job and omit the vacations or include all 3 records?

Question 2: My spouse was unemployed during the same year, 2021, and took the same trips as the main applicant. How should we fill out the background?

Option A:

• Unemployed from January 2021 to December 2021
• Vacation from July 15, 2021, to July 31, 2021
• Vacation from September 5, 2021, to September 9, 2021

Option B:

• Unemployed from January 2021 to July 2021
• Vacation from July 2021 to July 2021
• Unemployed from August 2021 to August 2021
• Vacation from September 2021 to September 2021
• Unemployed from September 2021 to December 2021

Option C: (Omitting Trips)

• Unemployed from January 2021 to December 2021

When I select 'Do you want to add a document to an existing file/application? (required),' I have the options 'Yes' or 'No.' If I choose 'No,' there is no option for attaching a document; only a text box is provided.
Secondly, I do not add a document to an existing file. Instead, I submit a request to extend my deadline for the required document. Can I choose 'Yes'?

You can simply type that letter on page and scan it and attach it . Also attach screenshots of passport processing and attach with webform. Not a issue with that .
