I'm under comp security check since Oct 24, 2024. I applied on Feb 27, 2024, PVO Sydney, SVO Montreal. That is absolute BS being treated like this without a single simple answer as a human in 2026 in a "first-world country" after living here for 5 years, paying taxes, and getting a Ph.D.

We have the same timeline. Applied on Fb 17, 2024 and my comh. background check has been in progress since Aug 2024. Same living here since 2020, have two academic degrees ) If you don't mind which country you're from? I am thinking to file mandamus

Our PR application has been in process since Feb 2024. Applied PR via SINP (employer restricted), and my current PGWP will expire on March 3, 2026. What is the best time to start and apply for the closed work permit? Also, I created an application for the closed work permit, but don't know where to include my employer's compliance fee receipt?

Hello. I am also in a similar situation, my nomination is employer restricted (SINP) and I have also caged jobs (but informed SINP about this change). My PGWP expires in July and my spouses SOWP expires in May. What are the chances of a closed work permit.
