I assume (and hope) you meant 2023 instead of 2013.

No , if you already applied for extension, you don’t have to worry about anything.
They only reissue nomination if your PR application is returned incomplete and your current nomination certificate has expired.

Please i want a clarity from you for the 2nd point you have mentioned,
When submitting PR we have not given anything for previously employment details as it was not mentioned in mandatory neither in additional documents for my program.
So do you think thy will ask for it ?

I called IRCC earlier and explained my situation. I reconfirmed that my nomination was not canceled despite the refusal of my BOWP and the expiration of my work permit extension yesterday December 5. On the same day yesterday, I submitted a closed work permit application under the LMIA exemption. The call lasted about an hour because they reviewed my application. I also confirmed whether I still have maintained status, and she said yes.

I applied on July 5th and received AOR on Nov 22. The next day on Nov 23, I got BIL, and the medical also passed. On Nov 25 I gave biometric , which was updated in GC Key. However, I still have not received PAL. Is it normal? As I show a few timelines, where generally they got PAL after biometric or medical. In my case, both have been done, though there is no update on PAL. Please advise me.

Please I applied in May 12, 2024 and received AOR and BIL in Aug 19 2024 ( which BIL was later updated because I had done bil for my closed work permit that was refused early this year) ..since then it has been total silence as I have not gotten MIL from ircc..my application is currently 7 months now and no progress as such, please advise me

Yes I am applying outside Canada and my closed work permit was refused on the basis that my proposed job offer does not tally with what where I currently work. My proposed job offer is a sales associate and I currently work in a financial institution in marketing department which is sales related as well, I don’t know why they said it’s not related
Also I have sent a detail LOE through webform on this PR application as well to address the reason for my cwp refusal even though I heard that that CWP and PR are different application
Hi @Miss bee hope you are doing well. I have a question from my sister-in-law. She got lmia in April 2023 and it was for two years. But as her passport was valid only till 9th January 2025, it was stamped only till the validity of her passport, that is 9th January 2025. She got Alberta PNP in the 1st week of August 2024 and applied for her PR on 24th August, 2024 but is still awaiting AOR, which is expected to come by February 2025. So, she will lose her status in the current situation on 9th January 2025.
Please guide me what options she has at this stage. Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.
