Agreed and it does make sense what Qorax said.........

Thanks pittabread,

Logically thinking, I would also like to go with Mr.Qorax's suggestion, but what Dr.Hasib and Samar has pointed out has put me in a dilemma.

Not able to make up my mind, only positive aspect in my case is that, I am not expecting to earn points from the wrongly entered NOC.

Thanks
Shami

Dear Saurav,

Happy to hear that your CC was charged yesterday.

Saurav, I have applied from India, but under NOC 4152, if you could please go through my post once again you will be able to make out that by mistake my current occupation NOC 1213 was entered wrongly as NOC 1233. Hope this helped to clear your confusion, sorry if my post got your misguided.

Thanks
Shami

NOC code mistake , it's big mistake, why dont you hired consultant so less mistake , less tenssion (if you hired good lawyer).
Keep in mind if you get NER and NOC list will changed after 1 july 2011 , your NOC will not in the list then it will big problem for you to migrate canada, Example: Look lots of NOC 0213 IT people waiting for visa and even new applicants waiting to apply but bad luck , no more NOC 0213 available.
yes you can send FAX with nice covering letter, now don't make any silly mistake in cover letter, write down your complete detail with DOB, place of birth, nationality, passport number , your address which you provided CIO, complete name etc and send FAX mentioned number by Dr.Hasib. dont forget to sign the cover letter, means your signature when you end the covering letter.

Hi!

I can assure you again there won't be any problems as you have not mentioned that NOC in no.12 of the schedule 3 form to be assessed to get points so if its right or wrong it doesn't matter. Now be positive and confident and stop worrying....

Thanks

Thanks Pittabread for the assurance.

I too feel I should trust the belief of my seniors and stop worrying.

Finally, I have decided to follow the advise from you people and as Qorax suggested to send an explanation to VO, once I get my PER.

My CC got charged yesterday an I believe it to be a positive sign.

Thanks
Shami.

Dear Shami,

I have applied for NOC 1233 as Insurance Claims Adjuster. And after charging to my credit card ,how much time it will take to issue PER?

when you have applied?
there will no problem in your NOC. once you receive your PER just update this error to High commission by mail or fax in your visa office country.

Finally I have made up my mind to inform the VO. I believe that would be a better option rather than sending the explanation to CIO.

I applied on 30th May 2011 and CC charged on 08th June 2011.

Looking at the time frame of the other applicants PER will take 30 -45 days .

Shami.

Thanks to Qorax, Pippin, & others who advised me to wait for CIO ER to be completed and send the updated form to VO.

I have received my PER and I really grateful to you guys for the timely advise.

Shami

CIO is not designed to take additonal information....it should'nt be a problem...once u get through to visa office and get an acknowldgement from them of th file transfer...you can email them to correct the typo error...

Thanks Pippin...........

I do have 67 points, and I do not expect any points for this NOC, but was wondering whether this will cause any confusion and should I send any explanation regarding this mistake, or should I just wait for the outcome.

Is there anyway I can fax the corrected forms, if so how can I go ahead explaining the situation.

Shami

Thanks Haral for the quick reply, I believe I have to wait for my status to turn RBVO, before sending the docs.

Qorax

Thanks a lot Qorax.

Now that I have got a file number, I believe I will have to update the VO about the correction once the status turns to RBVO.

Can I send the copies via e-mail or should I send a hard copy via courier?

Regards
Shami
