Gents,

small question please
when submitting the application CIC, to need to send notarized copy of my/ dependents passport or just simply send the passport copy, as here in Dubai notarization is really costly and in my case I have to notarize many papers
if ur papers are in English then don't need notarize pl read guidance carefully
:) :)

but usually the notarization is to certify documents copy form an original regardless the language
yes my passport is in English obviously but when I copy it do I need to certify it or not as similar to other documents like birth certificate and educational certificate

again i humbly request to all prospective immigrant (Future Canadian ;)) please read the Guidance first . don't make any assumption/decision according to our understanding, it is completely CIC's rules and policy, if they dont ask u dont do this make ur life easy and simple just follow them.
i hope everyone understand and don't take personally. :P :P :P

As you rightly said, you only notarise translated documents in line with CIC guidelines however, if you want to notarise your other photocopied documents and can afford the cost, you are free to do so. A lot of past applicants have done the same and gone on to receive PR. Cheers :)

Dear Lemon Bro,
how many days will it take to reach SVR from ECFMG in Medical college ,BD
and i would like to send it back using Courier is there any plm?

tx

If your credentials were already verified by ECFMG (like if you did that for giving USMLEs) then ECFMG wont send a request to your medical college, and will simply electronically verify your credentials to MCC within 2 weeks. However, if your credentials ARE NOT verified by ECFMG at this moment, they will contact your medical school and your med school has to respond. This is usually a very slow process, and via regular mail, it can take upto 2-3 months. Sometimes, even you will need to contact your medical school correspondents to stay in touch or make sure they have not slowed things down.

Good luck mate!

Congrats!

By regular mail, sometimes it can take 30-45 days (sometimes even missing). Therefore, no one can guarantee when it will reach. ECFMG will resend the documents every 2 monthly for 3 times if they will not get the documents back within this 2 months. Contact with your institute every weekly after sending the docs by ECFMG. Best of luck.
