Now waiting for ECFMG to send the documents to the institution. They say they'll be sent within 48 hours, which I hope means that by monday or tuesday the status will change to "Sent to the institution".

Fact:
Once your medical credentials are received at the ECFMG, the ECFMG provides the institution with:
- a copy of your medical credential
- a form to be completed and signed by the institution
- an ECFMG pre-addressed envelope

Question:

Is it acceptable, if the corresponding medical institute send the pre-addressed envelope (signed form inside) via DHL/FedEx to ECFMG? I think this will be faster than the regular mail, though I need to pay the courier cost. What is your opinion, please shear.

No confusion.
For ECA only MBBS certificate needs to be verify. For specialist they will assess on work experience certificate. Though you have to send your copies of FCPS, MD, Diploma etc. certificate to CIC.

As you say CIC will assess other qualifications like Diploma in Pathology, MCPS, FRCS etc.
But some one told me that we can assess diploma from WES, as diploma has classroom study at university.
Do you have idea that how much points will we get for MBBS?
Please help.

MBBS gives you 23 point
Other speciality degree will not give you any more point. It will be only considered if you applying for NOC3111 and those speciality degree doesn't need to be evaluated by any agency. They will consider NOC3111 on work experience certificates as per CIC's stipulated job description.

I asked my agency 2 days back to provide ID and password of my physicainsapply.ca account. Now, I realize that they have submitted SVR for twice and there is gap of 30days between the "Documents reviewed and accepted" and "Documents submitted to ECFMG" . My agency sent the transcript of MBBS which was not required . Therefore, the payments for Document fee was doubled (and the later one was 30days late). They already killed my 30days time. Don't know what more is waiting for me.

Thats a kind of strange...its taking one month since viewable online n sent to ecfmg..quite a long.

Can any one guide me what do ecfmg sent in package to college??

just wondering , why did you let your agency to apply for you. You should have applied & register on your own...! I did mine, & even applied on my own to CIC. no consultant services at all.....
