Hi,

As long as application arrives on or before 31st Dec, there will be a date chop to indicate that it has been received before the closing date. So your documents will still be reviewed even when express entry starts on 1st Jan as long the date of arrival is chopped as before or on 31st Dec.

Dear Jane,

The address you provided below is for snail mail or registered mail sent by Canada Post. One way you can check on the status is through DHL portal and keying in your AWB number. It will show you the last location of the parcel.

Yes I got email n sms from dhl on 4th Dec for courier delivered confirmation and sign by person name Donnie.

I may be wrong in this, but I think you can submit your IELTS at a later date to your local VO.

No - you can't. IELTS results must be included with the original application.

Finally dispatched our documents via DHL today. Man it's been a rough ride getting all the documents together...now its "cross-your-fingers-and-pray-real-hard" time!!!!

Applied under the 2172...will post when I have some news on when documents are received at CIC!! I hope they get it before the weekend kicks in.

We are the last bunch of folks applying under the current FSW policy!! *fingers cross*

Hi All...Just joined the forum after sending my application for 2172 and will be delivered tomorrow. Have few questions:

1. Looks like i messed up name of applicant/spouse in Additional Information form. I mean wrote primary applicant name in APPLICANT and spouse name in SPOUSE on both forms. However one form has all info about me and one all about spouse. Signatures are correct too. Will this be a problem?
2. If the app is received on 12/18/2014, approx when CC will be charged and PERM will be received (if all goes smooth )

I think the form with the incorrect info will not be considered. I did read somewhere that incomplete/incorrectly filled in forms or missing forms lead to rejection. Although if you are lucky they might just ask you to send the correct form over later...I guess its just wait and watch...unless some expert here could tell you some workaround.

hurry...i read someplace that you should attempt to get you application in by 23rd Dec!!

My application is also expected to reach Nova Scotia by 23rd. Here's hoping, although the NOC does have a lot of buffer given that the last updated number of total applications received stands at 370 odd..
