Hopefully i m planning to send my application tomorrow to CIO.
i have one doubt regarding envelope..size they mentioned in their guide.my documents are not coming into that size envelope.

please suggest ...

FINALLY I dispatched my application today.My noc code is 2172.

Is address mentioned correct?

What is the last date for the application to reach CIO???

I know its 31st Dec , but when is CIO going on christmas vacation???

I have applied for copy of IELTS and expecting to receive the same sometime in end of next week..

Just worried if I am able to make the packet reach before the christmas vacation....

I am worried too because I am going to send mine on 16th of December. But I think even if they are in Christmas vacation, they will consider the envelopes received before 1st January 2015. Am I correct ???

Dear Jane,

The address you provided below is for snail mail or registered mail sent by Canada Post. One way you can check on the status is through DHL portal and keying in your AWB number. It will show you the last location of the parcel.

Hi,

As long as application arrives on or before 31st Dec, there will be a date chop to indicate that it has been received before the closing date. So your documents will still be reviewed even when express entry starts on 1st Jan as long the date of arrival is chopped as before or on 31st Dec.

I do agree to wht you are saying technically.. but will the courier companies also be working and delivering during christmas???? cos i knw that most of the courier companies hand over our parcell to 3rd party for delivery in NS , Canada and then once with 3rd party our packet is untraceable till its delivered.

You are right to a certain extend. Best if your parcel can arrive by the 19th Dec to have sufficient "buffer time".

I may be wrong in this, but I think you can submit your IELTS at a later date to your local VO.
