My file reached CIC on 16 December , applying under 1123 ... Do you think I still have a chance .
Any views this latest update of caps consider applications received until which date ?

I think it depends on the cut off date on which they made the last update ...I mean till which date they include the received applications ?? 1st of October or 1st of November or 1st of December

Let's keep up hope for people like myself that just submitted this week. Very nerve racking but let's not give up yet. I know it looks very close but one just has to think positively.

Today I logged on CIC using my old UCI no and found out the they have accepted my application, It says "Your application has been received on 12th September 2014"

It means I can start celebrating, Yeah?

Friends...My application reached CIC on Dec 12th...Should make it into the CAP (hope so ).

I hope all those people who applied till Dec 31st should get PRs.

BTW the latest PER for 1123 is for application received on Oct 17th..

Infact, what surprises is that 17th,Oct PER was a DD encashment case... so everything done in just 63 days... CIC is unpredictable! So, no one can be sure...

but also, read on forum there is a 31st Oct applicant who claims his application was rejected because IMM5406 was missing. This ensures completeness check must have been done upto Oct'4 end and Nov'14 would be going on right now...

Hi,

As per latest CIC cap updates, your application completeness check in not done... So, your file will be counted towards 178 balance left... This number of files mostly from Nov and Dec... because 340 pending applications must be reflecting completeness check upto Oct'14 end...

Hi RJ1JR,

Unfortunately, no one can really give you an accurate answer to that question.
Not even CIC unless they can figure out where your application is in the order of receipt of those last 178 applications that they will have queued up.
