Hopefully what you say comes true but i think it might take longer as till very August, September applicants with PER as nov and dec haven't got the MR and they are still waiting.

Dear Jammu,

I think nationality also plays a role in expediting of the procedure. Specially for Pakistani Nationality average time these days it is taking is 5-6 months after PER to get MR and second line update. Therefore no two cases in immigration process are similar. Time will vary from case to case as well as nationality to nationality and visa office to visa office. But hope that you will get your second line updated as early as possible. Anyhow wish you all the best and fastest immigration process.

Dear managersonline,

Could you please tell your opinion about my case?? I got AOR in February 26, 2015. But I have received neither MR nor second line update. What do you think? Shall I sent a letter to VO or no?

Please note that it takes roughly between 90-180 days for MR.
And until and unless 180-days are passed you should consider that it is still normal.
Of course 180-days is an extreme scenario in those cases where investigation and background checks gets intensified and in depth.
Otherwise in normal circumstances roughly 90-130-days should be enough to get the MR.
Taking it into consideration these facts, you should not worry at all till 26th June 2015 (with 120-days normal period after AOR in most cases) and should be completely patient till 25th Aug 2015(180-days) and after that period you should start to think of GCMS notes because at that stage it is the time to know where VO has gotten stuck about your case.
Otherwise be completely patient till 25th Aug 2015.

Thank you for your letter and +1 to you for your explanation. The thing is that when I see the guys from India and other countries already getting their passport requests fall into panic.

Dear
For the last 1-2 months I have been thinking of the same, especially for Warsaw VO. But let me slightly develop this theory. I am of opinion that it is not the nationality factor itself but it is because of the different units in VOs responsible for different countries. For Warsaw case for example I am nearly sure that a group of officers are processing only Indian applicants, it’s kinda small NDVO within WVO - visa office within a visa office. The same principle can be for other VOs, except Sao Paolo, they are not from this Universe :D :D
What do you think?

Dear Manchi,

Your theory sounds reasonable. But if they can hire a group of officers for Indian applicants, why they don't hire a group of officers for the others, too. For example I am from Armenia and our visa office has been changed from Moscow to Warsaw, like in the case of Indians, but no group of officers is going to undertake our applications. I am waiting for the second line update and MR for already 72 days. What do you think, shall I write a letter to the VO?

Hello Everyone:

Firstly, our files were transferred to Warsaw at the very beginning and possible backlogs were considered beforehand and surely the number of applicants did not significantly overpass anticipated maximum, for NDVO case the picture is opposite, the files were transferred in the full swing because of the overload in main VO and that is why this unpredicted situation led to urgent involvement of additional resources.

Secondly, why should they hire more resources if there is no extreme need ? We all should face the harsh truth that the main goal of VO is not to help people, they are not Red Cross, they are just a governmental organization with their own procedures, policies, strategy, etc… the only exception can be for refugee status seekers and in some certain cases like giving priority to Nepalese applicants (BTW thumbs up and respects to Canadian government for that decision)

And finally, your concern can easily make others conclude that you are the only applicant in this planet without an update, whereas the reality is that we all are in the same boat, just look what is happening in the Russian forum… zero updates even for August applicants, so there are no grounds for you to panic. Wait till June-July.

Of course you can write them an email, even 10 emails but I am curious what are you planning to ask?

PS. I am waiting for SL for 88 days.

Regards

very well said,

we should also realise that every email that requires an answer is taking away time from an application.
Imagine a VO having to answer 20-30 emails in a day. whereas he may have otherwise spent that time clearing one extra application.

Based on the data available in FSWP2014 spreadsheet of this forum, I have done analysis of the LVO processing speed month wise on basis of total number of applications got PER and from those who got PER, who received MR and applications of each month who got PER and still waiting MR and percentage of those waiting for MR.
As you can notice that still several applicants whose application reached in May are still waiting for MR.
This analysis can give hope to several who still did not hear anything after PER because this is the way "immigration process moves".
India and Pakistan are chosen because most of the LVO applicants are originally from India or from Pakistan. Those who cannot see image in their broswer window of this forum can see the analysis from following link:-
