Hi Ghostrider,

ISM CPSM is not too expensive if done in India, I am not sure about other countries.

If anyone started this certification I woul kindly ask to share how musch is it:
- time consuming
- costly per year
- any cost difference if you start it as international student or if you are PR holder
- sessions to be taken in classroom or just on line exams after a period
Much appreciated if can be given above details.

Hope that they will not call. But it is usal practice at CIC/CIO to verify by one of the following means that person is or has been working in the company:-
1)- Telephone call to reception/authorized signatory/colleague or ever the applicant in his office
2)- Site visit by one of Canadian Embassy representative
3)- Site visit by sub-contractors of canadian embassy
4)- Contacting the colleagues of the applicant in his job place

Therefore take all necessary measures that there shouldn't be any negative response from any of the above.

Unfortunately it will not be possible. There is a big probability that he will come to know. Because this is what usually they do during the background checks. Verfication about your job is one of key part in backgroup check, apart from security and criminality cheks.

I am very much surprised. Today again I have noticed my linkedin profile viewing activity because since first time I have noticed that someon from CIC has veiwed my profile so I have started to view regularly to check who is viewing my linked in profile. Today one interesting thing i have noticed that there are six people from Toronto,Canada has viewed my profile as well. Wheresa persons in CIC who are auditing my profile has increased by starting from 2- three days ago to 5-persons today. as you can see in below screen shot:-

Whereas I am not usually doing any special activity on the Linkedin. Even last update to my linkedin profile I have done when i submitted my application.

What seniors think, that during the completeness check do they start checking the authenticiy of the person. OR CIO try to collect some preliminary information about the applicant.
