Can anyone confirm if there have been any virtual oath ceremonies for applicants from Surrey BC

My coworker who was originally scheduled for a March 24th in Surrey had hers July 16.

Initial Oath Date - March 18 - Cancelled due to Covid
Virtual Citizenship Ceremony express of interest - 7 July 2020 (Got this through Email)
Notice to Appear for Video Oath - 9th July 2020
Notice to appear for pre-ceremony registration - 16th July
Pre-registration Session for the oath ceremony(Documets like my id.s where checked) - 17th July
Virtual Oath Ceremony - 21st July 2020

Few Things to add
- I didnt request for urgent processing.
- I didnt receive any phone call. All communications came through email.
- I am not an essential worker
- I live in Niagara Falls but test was done in Scarborough. Also, citizenship ceremony was handled by officials from Niagara Office.
- Ceremony was quick and easy - 20minutes in total.
- 2 people took oath - Myself and another person(Not sure where this person is from)

There are always some exceptional cases. I understand how frustrating it is for those who're waiting for a long time. It is what it is.

Congratulations on receiving citizenship certificate within weeks time. Will you pl share as to whether the date on your Citizenship certificate
is same as of date of of your virtual ceremony or not? My virtual oath was on 22nd July 2020 and my CPC is Scarborough. I am also expecting my
Citizenship by next week.

No I haven't received the certificate however ecas shows COMPLETE

Yes sure I will update you once i get the email. I am thinking we will get the email with instructions tomorrow as like other applicants in this forum, most of the applicants received email a day before the oath.I received the call from unknown number on July 13th and they asked me if I am interested to take the oath virtually, then she gave me 2 options July 22 or July 24 I choose July 22nd. She also advised that I will get the email within a week with further instructions.

Hello, I am still waiting for the certificate but my application status changed to became Canadian Citizen on July 22.

2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on October 21, 2019.
3. We started processing your application on November 10, 2019.
4. We sent you a notice on January 13, 2020 to appear and write the citizenship test on February 2, 2020 at 2:00 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
5. We sent you a notice on February 21, 2020 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on March 23, 2020 at 1:00 PM.
