No Last Name - Application Status Tracker account registration help needed

Dear all,

I've recieved AOR a few weeks ago. Awaiting BIL.

Now I know few people have mentioned I can only create Application Status Tracker account after BIL, but others have told I can do after AOR.

In any case, I need help as my Last Name is blank on Indian passport and I only have a two-worded Given Name.

I tried a few combinations like blank Given Name and filled up Last Name, filled up Given Name and a space for Last name, but nothing seems to work.

May I know how some of you created the account, without Last Name, because the portal says Last Name is mandatory to register?

You need to wait for BIL before you can register on the application tracker

You can create a tracker account once the application is fully loaded into IRCC’s system. For many people, that effectively happens after biometrics are given, which is why you’ll often see advice to wait for the BIL before registering. That said, some applicants are able to access the tracker shortly after AOR as well, it varies.

Regarding the last name issue: per IRCC Help Centre guidance, if you do not have a surname, you should enter all your given name(s) in the surname field and leave the given name field blank. I would expect the tracker to follow the same logic. I’ve also seen people mention that, since the given name field is mandatory in the tracker, they entered a single space there. I can’t personally confirm which combination will work, but matching how your name appears in your application is key.
