Hi, I got the invitation, My Spouse Mother doesn't have a first name and it is not letting me complete the immediate members, how to resolve this issue?

Even i tried to leave it empty but doesn't allow me :-(

Any suggestions

Thank you.

Ideally it should allow you to keep the first name blank. They only need last name. But may people are facing this issue. Did you try NA or Not Applicable?

I am quite sure, NA and Not Applicable would work. But i was expecting any alternate except for that.

She doesn't have the first name. I am trying to use space and leaving it empty but doesn't work

Sorry I'm very confused why she doesn't have a first name.

I thought EVERYONE has a first name!

Some people choose not to have a surname but I haven't come across anyone who doesn't have a first name!

Write first name in both columns. NA is not accepted by CIC.

For you and your spouse you can write your first name in spouse name column and leave space for first name blank but for other family members you can not leave it blank so write first name in both columns.

Are you sure about this?

Sorry for the confusion, she has the surname and no given name.

I did this and explain in LOE. or hou can write the name in last name column and put - in first name column and then explain in LOE.

Sure, I would try this and update you accordingly. Thanks :)
Hi,

Did your application go through ?

I have an issue with the details for immediate family members. My parent has no last name and only given name available in the passport.
since it's mandatory to include details in both first and last name fields, I am unsure what details to enter.

Kindly let me know what to do in this scenario and if it has worked,
