NIIT certificate WES evaluation

Since I joined KSOU in 3rd semester and WES doesn't assess qualifications from NIIT, will my B.Sc (IT) degree look like a 2 year degree course? I have a degree from KSOU stating that I have completed the course from the University but I only have mark sheets for 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th semester.

I further pursued and finished MBA from Leeds Metropolitan University, UK in 2012.

Will really appreciate your responses towards my question (in bold) above.

Hi Manish,

I also completed 1 yr diploma from Niit and then Bsc it from KSOU. Even I am struggling to get the transcripts as I also have got the marksheets from 3rd semester onwards.. please let me know any possible way to get the trascripts from Ksou if you have managed to get one for yourself.

Hi,

WES does not evaluate NIIT diplomas or certificates. A course from NIIT will not help you gey extra points.

Hi Manisha,

Sorry for the late reply. NIIT diplomas or certificates will not be considered by WES. I hired an immigration lawyer who is based out of Vancouver and he suggested I only get my MBA degree evaluated as I am currently working in a field where my MBA degree is required. Therefore, I did mention my B.Sc(IT) degree in application but only got MBA degree evaluated by WES.

Hi manish85: my husband is stuck in a similar situation.
He did dniit from niit and from 3rd sem he completed bsc it from kuvempu University in AP as a lateral entry student.

Did wes finally evaluate your credentials from niit ? Was ur degree valid ? Please help.

Hi Prie,

WES will not evaluate qualifications earned from NIIT. I pursued MBA after finishing B.Sc (IT) and since I am now working in a field where only my MBA matters, I only got my MBA credentials evaluated. My immigration lawyer, based out of Vancouver, advised me of the same.

If your husband has a Masters degree, he may only get that evaluated provided the field that he is working in recognizes his MBA qualification more than the UG qualification. Hope it helps. Let me know if you have any other query.

Hi Manish85: Thank you so much for the quick reply. Unfortunately my husband has only B SC IT degree from Kuvempu University. He also has a 1 year diploma in management from Welingkar Mumbai but since it is autonomous not sure how much value that will fetch. May I ask which Immigration expert did you consult with. Could you please email me he details on priyakanauje@gmail.com. Contacting him might help me sort out this issue as well.

I have also done the same course from NIIT. Can you please guide me on how did you proceed? How did you manage your 1st to 3rd Semester transcript ?

Same with my case I have done MBA and I am working and my MBA is fine so Will I qualify for this?

Hi Prie,

I have the same situation. Have you received any updates from WES for evaluating DNIIT 2 years diploma, then 2 years Bsc University. I don't know what to do to tell WES :(
