Amyyy, I believe you'll get your MR soon. Have you contacted your agent yet? Just like Preferred said, your MR is yours and yours alone and it will come to you and you alone ( and of course, your family members). I pray that the wait for MR will soon be over.

Our PPR just strolled in. We were given 15 days to submit our passports. I have a few questions though:

Must we fill the IMM8 form again or can we just state that our family composition has not changed.
Also, can any of the seniors send me a template of the cover letter they used.

We are thinking of using UPS as this is the courier service closest to us. Is this advisable or we should just stick with DHL.

I got this mail today from Accra. This is after I have done medicals and sent documents to them.

I have determined that you may be ineligible to Canada as a foreign national by virtue of the fact that you do not meet the Financials requirements necessary for a family of 4(CAD$ 21,971) as outlined in section R76(1)(b) of the Immigration Refugee Protection Act and the Regulations:

Before I make a final decision, you may submit additional information relating to this issue. You must show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family after you get to Canada. You cannot borrow this money from another person. You must be able to use this money to pay the costs of living for your family (even if they are not coming with you). Valuations of current property are not acceptable as proof of available funds.



You have 30 days from the date of this letter to submit additional information to me. Please ensure that you quote the application number indicated at the top of this letter on any information you submit.


I have submitted POF with my MR for 4 families worth N3.5 I don't understand what else they want from me.

Pls help in making my response to them.

a few questions for you daramz, was it fixed deposit certificate you sent? what date was it fixed and for how long? if it was your statement of account, was it the whole sum credited at once to your account or amount credited over a period? i cant say categorically what they look out for but i believe they want more details from you. i would advise you increase the amount and show them the source of both the initial amount and the increase. if what you sent initially was fixed deposit, you can add your statement of account. you also need to convince them about the source of the funds.(convince them it was not borrowed) so if possible also add evidence of the source of the amount. adding a few more documents to substantiate your claim should do the trick. also add a cover letter explaining your documents. all the best.

I wish to thank everyone for their warm congratulatory messages on the receipt of our PPR

I also want to congratulate those that received one update or the other such as MRs, PPRs, and PRVs today. The good Lord that started the good work is able and faithful to complete it.

Accra is simply on FIRE today ! I don't think we've had so much updates in a single day since they started attending to FSW 2013 applicants. About 12 or 13 updates comprising MR, PPR and PRV. It's simply breathtaking. It's awesome and marvelous in our sight.

For those awaiting one update or the other, as the scripture says 'though it may tarry for a little while but it will surely come'. Keep the faith !

God will definitely give us all a new song and a new dance. The shouts of joy and rejoicing will not cease from our household in Jesus name. Amen.

The email u got frm avo is definitely a mistake, vo are humans n capable
of making mistakes.

I will suggest u reply the email attaching copies of bank statement u had initially sent
Quoting thr balance. If the bank statements is printed within the last 3 months its
still valid.

and tell them u will be sending another one shortly. Since we need the visa
more.
