Accra Visa office stated processing MPNP applicants dis week and they sent mail to some, well i mail them, they said there sending the pre depature orientation for applicants from octomber- december 2015 CIC MPNP applicants, there to fill it, may be this another way for file transfer, well i tink its gradually coming to us, if u want to no more go to PNP CIC 2014 forum, u will see d full details there

I have been following this thread for a while but logged out for so long since my online status refused to change. but surprisingly, I got an email with LOA few days ago.

I applied since July 2014. My kind question is this. My IELTS has already expired in their hands, do I need to write another IELTS before applying to CIC??

I have scrolled through the trends, most people said it doesn't matter if its expired while some said IELTS must be valid. Which of the information is correct please? And has anyone submitted an application to CIC with an expired IELTS cert and had it approved?

Please someone should guide me on how to update my timeline here.

Yea! I submited with an expired IELTS and CIC accepted that. But the truth is dat I became very apprehensive with what pple were saying back then and I had to rushed into sitting for another IELTS incase my application got returned from CIO. To my surprise, it got approved and I got my AOR. However, it wont be a bad idea if u can sit for a new one b4 sending.

Dear Forum members, Please I need professional advice on a scenario. Let's assume my daughter is schooling in Canada and is also my dependent in my application. Then her students visa expires and she also misses the 90 day window to reapply from within canada and is still in Canada continuing her studies, what do I do. I'm basically waiting for MR and I'm so confused. Should I tell her to come home? What do I do?

Hello, I suggest you seek a professional advice regarding this issue. Most of us here are learners and won't be able to give you a better advice. This is just an opinion please

I am in Canada currently on PGWP. That being said, she is currently out of status and at this point is supposed to leave the country before they come after her. However, there have been some few known cases where people got their status restored and a new study permit issued. From what I have seen friends do, she can apply for restoration of status and a new study permit via paper application. She has to pay the the restoration fee and study permit fee.

Caveat: it may not work for her but better to try before leaving the country.
