Congrats dreamteam. We wish you all the best and divine favor as you settle down.

NB please does anyone know accra phone lines? i need to call them or send them an email

Dreamteam congrat on your safe landing and all the best.

Tinu,

Have tried personally calling accra and found out ,that it ia a total; waste of time. The receptionist picks the call and advice you send a mail.I would rather you send a specific case enquiry than wasting time and money on calls.
My honest advice, members might have a different view.

you are not going to be making use of their email address. You have to send a specific case inquiry, Which can be found in CHC accra's website

I communicated with Accra in September via email and it worked just fine; got a reply 9 days after.

On how to reach the visa and immigration section, just follow this link:

I am old school. It was not about AOR but an information about my updated application which I inadvertently left out earlier. They replied that the information had been noted.

Hi all,

Got a mail from Accra yesterday dated October 5 requesting further documentation including our baby.

Now they're asking for an updated General Application for PR in Canada, form IMM 0008.

To underscore Accra's incompetence, when medicals were requested last June for baby, the letter had specifically requested us to fill only form IMM 5406 (Additional Family Information) which we did promptly instead of asking for both forms at the same time.

Anyway trust me I am dispatching the latest form via courier today and I pray and hope that the next request will only be passport request.

So folks it appears Accra is waking up from slumber and u'll be hearing from them soon. Stay blessed.

If you dont want to include your wife at this stage, there is no problem, it only save you money. such as processing fee, and landing fee for your wife. But note that either accompany or not you and all your family we do and pay for medical.Applying alone will also save you POF

Hi Tito/Seglad,
How are you nija doing?
Yea! To come to your views, we ready in a thread of a man who went with his family and did not find it funny.
I am not running away from my wife or is it the POF that is the issue; I need to settle down first before I will pick her.
My aunty who is my sponsor, it won’t be wise that as of the initial time of my application I was single till when LOA came by then I was married.
While I plan staying with my sponsor, I don’t think it wise carry additional burden to her. Am not saying that my wife is a burden but I need to plan for her.
The good thing here is it’s been indicated that am married.
So whenever she is coming it will be easier for her.
While am searching for job and possibly stay on my own she can then come over.
Am I clear now?
Thank you for your view.

Bros and Sis,

Although I'm new to the Naija thread but have been a member of the forum for a while.

Not sure if I'm allowed to join in your discussions as my application is been dealt with by the London CHC office bcoz I'm UK resident.

However, would like to suggest if we can produce a new thread with list (probably table) of fellow naija people who have already landed in Canada and are willing to share with us their current location...............

I've always wanted to settle in Calgary(God's willing) but havn't see any mention of this part of Canada by fellow Naija people that have already landed.

Has anyone got more info on how quickly one can adjust in that area??????????/..........

Not many people have landed from this thread. But even the few that have landed can be of help. Tito has landed for a while, Oloye some few weeks ago, barsindo some few months ago and greamland some few days ago. I might have left some persons out but you can pm any of these guys for information they are always ready to assist.

I think (but not too sure)barsindo is in resides in calgary i recall him mentioning calgary so you can pm him specifically to ask for any information.
I hope this helps. You are welcome to the thread.
