Hi all,
I sincerely apologize for jumping into this Forum without doing the appropriate. A Yoruba adage says Omode t'owole ti ko ki agba ................. .I want to say a big thank you to Igbehinadara for starting this Thread. A big well done to Tito, seglad, Right, barsindoo, Ind_Dan, DyDx to mention a few. You people have been doing a great Job. To the main Issue.

1. What is case-specify Enquiry?
2. Where/who do i send it to?
3. I am using a representative, do i write and send myself or ask my representative to?

Oluwa a mu wa de bi Ayo wa o.

Thanks.

Fellow Nigerians

I want to test a theory here with you all.

I have noticed that since the June 26th changes there has been a big slow down in Accra in the processing of applications where the NOC is no longer on the list.

Similar to DyDx, my NOC is 0111 and application went in to Accra in May and I got a similar email to the one posted earlier. Applications for other NOC that continue to be on the list are getting processed as normal or faster, like that of ind_dan (I am assuming NOC is still on the list).

Like I said, just a theory but you never know I may be right.

Peace!!!

We are both in the same shoe. I make use of consultant(COHEN). If you are using a very good consultant, they should be the one making the necessary communication with CIO. But you never can tell. Best is to send a case specific enquiry

here is the link
https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/cicemail/intro-eng.aspx?mission=accra

fill in the required data. If u do nt know ur representative CSIC no just leave it blank and also your file number slot should be left blank if you do nt know it. I called CIO, they said they are just received and are just opening the pre may 13 applicants files. I think the recipiant must be lethagic, cos i do nt think he knows what he was saying. Would call them back later today

Dear Nija,
I just thank God for his grace on my application.
Well, I did not use any consultant I am doing the processing myself with the help of God and my aunty in Canada.
I hope they will reply us soon.
Am in the class of NOC is 4163 please confirm if it still in the list of NOC
Thank you.

Another thing I did though am married I indicated it but said my spouse wont be accompanying me to Canada maybe that is making my case fast I don’t know but I give all glory to God.
I pray about it daily and I want us all to do same.

hello Kanadamie/Awoderu,

I submitted my full documents to Accra by May 11,2010 thru' EMS. Confirmed with them that Accra received it by May 17,2010. However, having waited for months without response from Accra, I decided to send a case specify enquiry to them on August 14,2010. I got an email reply on August 17,2010 with the following details:

We received your application for permanent residence in Canada in the Federal Skilled Worker Class on May 28, 2010. However, please be advised of your file number - B05.... (which is my 2nd AOR)

Quote your file number in all your future correspondence with our office.

Your file is currently in queue to be paper-screened by an officer. Once this screening takes place, you will be contacted with regards to the next steps in the processing of your application.

Thank you for cooperation and for your interest in immigrating to Canada.

Regards

Visa Office [RE] RE is the initial of your visa office who is dealing with your case file. She is the one dealing with mine as well. She is into details, you got to have fast respond to all her correspondence/request. But she is too slow in handling many of her case file. I wish you all the best

Am reading from other thread about Visa office quota been filled up.Who can confirm,if the quota for Accra has been used up?I wonder how many visas they have issued this year.

Be that as it may .Is it that ,they will also stop sending update letters?" Na waoh

Accra is the least understood visa office. They're the second from bottom of all visa offices in terms of performance. The general trend globally at the moment appears to be a reduction in visa issuance but regarding Accra's quota and whether it has been filled nothing is known. Going tru the forum, it appears the last time visas were issued @ Accra was August. Folks who did their medicals as far back as March have not got PPR!

Anyway I think everyone should remain optimistic bcos very soon I see things speeding up by God's grace. So lets keep our heads high.

iii,
Yes ooooo,my brother. It is well. What constraint do they have, that they have to be second to last? They can't receive application more than those Asia countries!so what is their problem,we are ready to help them,if they need our free services-ha ha aha .No problem, our baba is still on the throne.
