teejay i dont think u have to declare anything twice. you only declare at ur final destination, montreal is just a transit point and u will be treated as u were treated at all other transit points.

i am also traveling to Toronto thru Montreal and its about one hour and half hours wait time.

u only declare at final destination.

Swinglow!!! this your waiting time in YUL is too small o........ for landing formalities in the event you have quite a number landing on the same day with you.........if am not mistaken we spent more than an hour during our landing .......o

I want to know when to expect my passport request. i did apply for my Quebec certificate of selection in Sept 2011, got a selection certificate in paris November 9th 2012, send application for ferederal received December 3 2012. got RPRF Request feb 6, 2013, Medical request Feb 7, 2013. RPRF received in ghana 14th Feb 2013, medical done 14th Feb 2013, received received in london high commission 24th of Feb 2013. I am waiting for passport request now from Ghana. any one with the ideal of how long it takes accra to request for passport for Quebec skilled worker on priority list? (Chemist).

Hi swinglow and teejay, from what i have read on this forum, if you are landing in any city in canada other than your landing destination you would do all landing formalities in those cities.In your case montreal.I am sure the landing formalities would include POF etc....other landed snrs can help clarify sha...hence its better to avoid transits in canada cities that you dont intend residing in.

Priceless Montreal is in Quebec and if you are not a Quebec nominated immigrant you can not do landing formalities

You may need to do further check on this........ Quebec is part of Canada and anyone arriving there with FSW1-3 will do the landing formalities in the first point of contact with Canada.......the CBSA will come handy with their duties I bet you.....
