You can fly Lagos via Royal Air Maroc is the cheapest airline their office is in Vi the route is Lagos-Casablanca-montreal. if you have US visa you pay less Lagos-Casablanca-New york.

The Lagos-Casablanca-New York route will still require another flight to Canada from New York, except if one is considering going by road which is like 12 hours by bus. I have gone through this route (Lagos - New York - Montreal/Toronto/Ottawa) to Canada twice and it was really adventurous but its not advisable for family trip or someone with luggage.

Congrats to all landed forumites and recepients of PPR. My case i state again below:

Medical request- 21st of May 2012

Medical done- 24th of May 2012

RPRF paid on 19th of June 2012

ECAS status updated to '' Medical results have been received'' on - 12th of July 2012

And up till now, no email from AVO requesting for PPR .

This seems to be taking so long peeps!

My status is very similar to yours, ECAS was updated the same day. Well, my fingers remains crossed because I know the PPR will happen any day now, so for me I have started preparing for landing late September or early October. God is in control, it is well!

There will be need for transit visa as well. Also ticket for the final leg will have to be purchased and the initial leg must be a sigma six service.

Hello Spicey. This request of yours is helele The banks offers the best rate but you know how it is. You may not qualify for it. So the option left is BDC and its ranges btw 164.5 to 165.

It is true that Banks offers the best rate,but note that Banking Institutions are not allowed to sell BTA or PTA to customers with one way ticket(kindly challenge me if am wrong).

And i categorically tell you that the maximum amount the Bank gives to BTA and PTA customers are 5000 and 4000 respectively(except Letters of credits and Bills for collections).On that note buddy,Spicey's right starts from where that one ended as they cannot issue Forex in double digits of thousands to it's customers.

I have already contacted few friends here whose contact is within my reach.

On the contrary to your post above,my best deal Last Friday ,August 4th 2012 was 162.5.

Started doing my stuff 2 weeks ago,If it is not Spicey,it can never be Spicey.
