Good Day Elders,

Does anyone know if processing have started picking up in Accra?

Thanks.

Hi Everyone,

Hope you all had a restful weekend?

I need your help in interpreting this 'Note from the latest operation instruction of 04/08/2010".This is from Section 12(12.4) on Language for applications made before Feb 27,2008.

You all will recall my husband took the test back in August and had 7.5.I was going through the instruction this morning and came across this(''Points for the applicant’s language proficiency are generally awarded according to evidence
provided at the time the application is made. However, if further study, training, or testing is completed
and documentation submitted between the time of application and the time of assessment, officers will
use the most current results to determine point allocations. In terms of designated language test
results, officers will NOT select the highest score for each language ability from a variety of test score
submissions. It is always the most recent group of tests that will be considered by officer as it is the
most current assessment of the applicant’s four language abilities''.

My question is this!Is it advisable to forward the test result to Accra based on the information above or just chill with it, and wait for an update request? As at the time we made our application in Nov 04,we made use of a rep which has been since been cancelled and the appropriate form sent to Acrra, though new address yet to be updated on ecas.

I will really appreciate your individaul take on this.

Thanks

Ig

Hi nija ppl,
How are u all doing? Please can anyone help me with a reachable phone number to CIC in Ghana, as I need to be sure the additional documents I sent to them two weeks ago had reached them.
I sent it via registered post office in Lagos.
Please my people help! Thanks.
i submitted in June got my AOR in August additional doc req. in Sept.

Ig,

I strongly advise that you wait for document update except of course if you had already sent the documents before, then you must quickly send the IELTS result immediately because it has validity of only ONE YEAR.

If the result is already with them and it expires, then it is their business other ...you may need to re-sit another one.

Seniors, please kindly give your respected opinions.

Regards,

Right,
Thanks for the prompt response.,result still with us.

Ig,

I believe you can wait for the request for update. Dont forget that we the request is made, it is usually 3 to four months to the time of review of your case. Update is to give an advance notice of the review of your case. It is the documents they have at that point that your score will be based on.

But I dont think there's anything wrong with you sending the result before the request is made if only accra will not misplace it.

It is well, my sister

You are required to update them once there change (significant). It's safer and sensible.
