Hello friends, brothers and sisters .

Unfortunately, my internet was down from last 4 days, and i was unable to get online at all. I am at office today, and am back online.

Well, by the Grace of Lord Shiva, i got my passports back yesterday, with Canadian Visa on it.

I would particularly like to thank everyone in this forum, who were there at all times with me... helping me in understanding the process, giving me more confidence when needed, and specially people like Saahil and Abhishek Goel, who call me even now to comfort me and discuss a lot of things.

For the benifit of all, my timelines are as follows:

FSW1, Code - 7216

Application sent to Sydney on 10-Nov-11
Processing Fees DD encashed on 17-Jan-12
PER mail received on 1-Feb-12
Documents transferred to NDVO on 21-Feb-12
Request for MR, RPRF, PCC, Passports on 5-Mar-12
Medicals sent by DMP on 13-Mar-12
Medicals copy, PCC, Passports, RPRF sent by me on 20-Mar-12
'Medicals Received' line updated on 25-Apr-12
DM updated on 28-Apr-12
Canadian Address updated on 30-Apr-12
Passport at home on 1-May-12

Abeg, make u no compare NDVO plus Accra o, ND holds the record for superfast processing..... Even MI 3s self don get visa for ND. But e go be give we all...Amen!!

As far as am concern Accra is trying. It may seems they are not working, may be bcos it is yet to get to our turn. Believe me, Accra is working. They don't even have a choice since CIO has given a matching order to clear all Pre-June by June '012.

Let's not forget that accra also serve other countries too. While we may think they are not working they may actually be attending to other countries. I believe very soon, in a matter of weeks PR's will start flowing to all those MI-1 who have done medicals and also MR's to those next in line.

My brother Gabil, sister Mandie & everybody xpecting an update from AVO, no matter the delay, with God on our side "we are more conqueror thru Christ that strengthen us". It can only be delayed we can never be denied bcos like I said earlier the Heavens had STAMPED/ENDORSED it Gbam! Gbam!! Gbam!!!, "every thing works together for good_ _ _ _ _ _". So get busy, stay focused, be hopeful/xpectant and be prayerful.

Like I said Accra is superfast IMO. Many of my sets in NDVO and LVO are yet to get MR! I know many of us Pre-Juners who have gotten MR especially May and June 2010 applicants. Whereas many January to April in NDVO and LVO are begging to enter In-Process.

Some few Pre-Juners in Accra who are yet to get MR had one update or the other. :-X :-X :-X

Am not trying to hold brief for Accra, they are trying. At least working to meet the 22 months deadlines GBAM GBAM GBAM ;D ;D ;D

Proficiency in french helps a lot but is not necessarily a requirement even though you need to have some level so that you can pass the language exams.
