1.There are many programs to migrate to Canada - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/apply.asp
2. This forum is mostly about the Federal Skilled Worker. So I will start by checking if I am eligible, i.e. is my occupation or course of study in the list of occupations being admitted for the FSW? http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp#jobs
3. If your occupation is in the list, then you should look at all the requirement and start putting your documents together. Your credential evaluation will take some time so it may be a good idea to start early. Try to register for your IELTS while you are waiting for your evaluation.
4. Continue to visit this forum to share your experience and ask for clarifications

@Arike, I'll also advise you start building your POF (Proof of Fund) along side too. You'll be glad you did. Even after going through all those links availed by 9ja4dLord, please do not hesitate to ask further questions as seniors in the house will be willing to help out.

Hi Arike, I advice that you come around today for the eagle's meeting.
I believe you will be greatly blessed, encourage, meet other applicants even senior that have gotten their visa and lots of other updates and help really.


February meeting was my first time and it was really worst it, much more than I expected.

Did Accra actually carried out any background checks on your applications that you are aware of ?

Did any of your employers confirmed to have received any request for information from Accra as regards you?

Am just trying to figure out what Accra could be doing presently with our application.
