Congrats to all the folks that got one update or the other.

Quick inquiry and thoughts on what could be delaying the PER for an applicant with the following timeline:

- Application received at CIO on the 31st Jan 2014
- CC charged on the 25th February
- Till date, no PER has been received
- Contacted the CIC through the e-mail address and still waiting for the 20working days window for feedback

You have echoed my thought. But what if the passport is renewed;say the expiration of landing in canada is 23rd November,2014 and passport expires in august ,2014?Cant the person renew his passport and have the visa re-issued before the November date for landing?

My advice, it's better you renew your Passport if the 6months validity for issuing visas is too close!

You can't request for a Canada PR visa reissuance !!!
