I am interested in the meeting, however, I am not available in December due to other commitments. I will join you for the Jan 2011 meeting.

For those of us who can't attend the Dec. meeting, a summary report of the meeting and initiatives put forward would be welcome.

I want to suggest that the meeting should hold when all parties have agreed on a convenient date and venue. Holding the meeting monthly may be counter productive as monotony and also laws of diminishing return . Bimonthly may be O.K

It is good we get to know ourselves now. There is power in UNITY

Friends I won't be available for the meeting as stated in my earlier mail 'cause I shall be out of town. I will however attend future meetings.

As suggested by thejackson, I also think a monthly meeting might eventually become boring. Bi-monthly or a quarterly affair might be better.

I'm interested in the meeting BUT won't be able to make the first (December) meeting because of academics/exams committment that I have to fulfil/completeby Dec.29. However, I hope to be (PRESENT) in subsequent meetings by His grace.

There are two possible reasons either accra wants to do background/security check (should you have held any government positions or worked in the forces or lived out of country of residence for more than six months) or they want to do information conformity regards to what you have filled in before, maybe there is a mismatched information or missing information on your schedule 1 form. This shows accra is working on your file, had it been everything is ok by them, they should have issue medical request. But due to the schedule 1 form update, they will give you anothe 'BFD''. DO WHAT THEY ASK YOU TO DO ON TIME,PLS

i will send it to them this morning via post as i cant spend money again on courier.
it really frustrating that just last Sept was when i sent it with DOB and employment letter.
no wahala. hopefully a week's time they will get it.
as nija post na one week delivery. which is BFD? so will dey start counting another 60days which i guess should be 25th Feb 2011. this 60 days period is weekends inclusive?

Weekend is not included in the 60days.I will advice that you use courier to send you documents so that you can track the documents, using traditional post might cause another delay or might not even arrive on time.

Is one of the sacrifices you have to do by sending it via courier. I know nothing about cross country, but delivery is garantee then why not. Cic wont repond to you call, the phone is always on answering machine, unless you send a specific enquiry or mail them

i really don't understand this cic Ghana in Sept they sent me a mail asking for schedule 1 background form up date with DOB and employment letter
today again they are requesting for only the schedule 1 background dose it mean they don't keep records or they just 4ward mails to any one without reviewing it.
pls can someone help me out here.
cos i send them both hard and soft copy i see no reason why they should ask again.
as for the meeting pls. let me know date n venue am in Lagos

my brother take a deep breath and take a careful look at your form again line by line, there may be conflict at a point and the Officer need clarity before reaching a decision. All the best
