Awoderu, You should have let your brother do the notarization by himself in canada and have it sent to you. it's only cost CAN$5.00. By getting his identity notarized in nigeria without sighting the original by the Notary may mean a lots to the VO and may be doubtful of any documents from Nigerian applicants.By law you are not suppossed to be in possession of someone original identity. Then, how do you get the notarization done without the original. Dont let us make life difficult for others by our actions, please. Documents issued or authenticated by Canadian government needs not to be notarized, as such documents can easily be confirmed by the its own authority. Photocopy only will do, what you do there was ''efiko'' or over syllabus which may leads to another scenario, May God forbid. But one thing is certain you may be called for an interview.

Awoderu, pardon me for the manner of my writings, i hope you will understand me. Just for the sake of other and future applicants
@ Seglad, You took the words out of my mouth. I remember suggesting to Awoderu not to notarize his brother's doc here in nigeria but to add it to his own docs un-notarized and explain his reason for not notarizing the doc to VO so they don't have any doubt toward his application but he still went ahead to satisfy his mind. I hope this will not land him in great soup. Have you forgotten what happened to Darkside? Just a little mistake can end your dream. We pray you sail through without any issues IJN.

I shouted AMEN. I pray the VO shall not notice the notarization. If VO notices, then not Awoderu alone will be in soup but all us who are about to submit one documents or the others who will face stricter scrutiny.

For those of us that submitted already, kindly share how you have written or modified the addresses stated for courier delivery.

Dear Fellow thinker,

The reason for this forum is to educate one another, get informed about the process and procedure of CIC/CHC, so that we dont become CIC/CHC prey. I know Nigerians are smarter, sometimes smartness does not necessarily needed to be overdone. CHC looks for whom to be hurted, looks for little mistakes and capitalized on it. The views, ideas, advises and information we obtain from this forum are priceless and superior than what a lawyer, represntative, agent or consultant would render to you as their services without taking hundred of Dollars from your pocket.

Should you not well informed about Accra processing and procedure, dont hesitate to ask people on this forum, please. They are ready to render thier views and give advise accordingly with their personal experience. There is no crime in asking, ''Those who asked to be leaded never miss their way'' If there is anything concerning ACCRA, documents and other necessary information ask this forum and shall all put heads and minds together to the best manners we can achieve our goals. Avoid mistakes and yield to good advise. Always think about your action this day and what impact does it have on others tomorrow.

I somehow almost get confused with notarization of Doc supplied by relative from Canada. I think its not neccessary. Please lets ask question before throwing documents at the VO.
For those who were following the issue of POF last week. All wrote in to shed light on that matter.Thats how it goes round to help here.
anyway where is Tinu?

Awoderu
Though, you have done what you did, please begin to gather your defence because Accra Visa Office will certainly ask you how you got the original of your brother doc in Canada. I only use the photocopy of my sister PR , birth certificate and record of landing.
Seglad and others are right. Any way, just gather your defense

We are in this forum to help one another and not to blame or castigate

To all my brothers and sisters , If Christ tarries, we sing a new song one day

Anty Ig hope you have submitted your update .?

ALL SHALL BE WELL

Yes, you need one of Canada and Nigeria, should you have being in canada for the last six months, you will need to submit one from canada

My pple.

I am ver y happy with all your comments regarding my question. Really no hard feelings at all.

Am grateful and ets keep the 9ija flag flying! I'll be very happy to meet with my 9ija fellas as suggested by Ig...infact it shall be great.

Am in Lagos.

@ Awoderu, The deed has been done anyway. I remeber one of the members was hammering it on us all NOT TO RUSH TO SUBMIT DOCUMENTS. I have all documents but one person (Seglad the gr8) said I should wait a while for my original transcript (skool in strike - Lagos State Higher Insts)....I agreed and still waiting since I have up till February 20, 2011.

I prayed that the VO of Awoderu will not check the documents properly to see the 9ija notarisation bcos thats a great problem/risk. Mind you, there is what we call backgroud check, which may lead them to check his brother.

I was even thinking that the VO may think that his brother was in 9ija and that gave the oppotunity...God let it work like that if not...I foresee a danger...

May the good Lord perfect all our ways. Although this will teach some of us to be more careful and painstaking. Don't let us expose our nation as though everything is fraudulent.

Right, if all other documents are ready kindly send it, please. Explain to the VO the hinderance of the Original transcripts and promise to send it as soon as available. The worst thing that can happen is to place you on open ''BFD'' or on a selection screening queeue until they receive the missing documents from you.

Seglad,

Thanks as usual.
