I would bring the enveloppes if you still have them to show when they were mailed to you as the post office as a little stamp with the dates if you notice they stamp in the corner of the enveloppe...

Gread advice for Iambless so far. If you have things like utilities or cable bills or whatever, you still have time to have companies list both of your names on your next bill. Keep envelopes and any bill you have will have a date on them anyway. Magazine subscriptions...airmiles.. any statement that you have i'd take with you.

congrats to iambless. nice to see movement. don't fret, they just making sure everything is in order. bring in anything you have with the canadian address....library card, etc.

ms proper - sounds like good news. nice to see that someone is looking at your file and they took the time to update ecas.

i must say i'm getting kinda anxious that we don't see any update. we sent all originals and the birth mom sign paper to show custody, etc. but like some of you have said, i start to question that we didn't provide enough info. feeling a bit of pity these past few days and trying to shake it off. i sure hope to see more updates this week and pray one comes my way too.

Just popping in to say wha gwan and to congratulate those who are receiving updates be it interviews or ecas updates etc.

I agree iambless, take bills, bank statements, credit card statments, Coverage of Health Insurance if any, lease, any and everything that has your name written on it and is Canadian.

Togirl... I dont want to damper your spirits but in the past its proven that those who are sponsoring husbands/wifes and sponsoring children that are not theirs (eg. husband and their child by another women) the cases have always taken longer to process than the average case. It simply boils down to more background checks needed to be done and things like that which can take some time and can also provide for medical redo's because of the time line. I hope that since the audit has taken place they are able to process these cases as any other case but I just wanted to give you a heads up if you were wandering why yours is taking a little bit longer without any word from Kingston. Take a look at the cases on Charlie D's update list... Jamwifey for example was in that situation. Fingers crossed for a quick process for you.

Iambless: congrats, dont be nervous. The fact that they told you to bring your passport is great.

Mrs. Proper: you are on your way lady you should be happy. I noticed that update on my file in February, march i rec'd the request to pay the PRF and April we got the call for pass port request so you are good to go.

Just a tid bit of update. i paid the PRF on March 16/11 and rec'd a letter today confirming that payment was rec'd and the Kingston visa office has been notified. I gotta give props to these people. I think they are really trying to get a lot of processing done.

thanks yaadgirl!! We paid everything in the beginning of january which im glad we did that way it wouldnt set us back anytime, not trying to get my hopes up but my fingers are crossed that it goes smoothly and we hear something soon, preferably a passport request!

hello everyone,
things are slowing down on the forum, I know things are a bit overwhelming but we cant loose hope, I know I am propably the last person you all want to hear from because you think my hubby got thru but, the fact is im still waiting, even though with a date im still waiting, my hubby was supposed to pick up his pp tomorrow, but he was called yesterday with a resheldule date for nest wk.

this really sucks as I was looking forward to seeing my hubby this wknd.

but its not over until its over,

I might be a bit less on the forum, because im in my final semester and is preparing for final, i have a couple big one next week and a few assignments so I really need to put some energy in school right now and stop stressing over these IO, I think I have enough grey hairs, its a good thing ppl are not able to call them, becaus they would surly get a piece of my mind this day, lol
