Hey guys,
I have a question, when replying to the client portal email, they ask about original entry date. from when it actually counts? I mean, for example, I came to canada on visitor visa in 2017 for the very first time and then i left and came back in 2019 on student visa. so which one I should submit as my original date of entry??
I would appreciate if someone can help me

Hi, I had a similar dilemma and ended up putting my first entry (as a visitor) to Canada even though I came here as a student 2 years after visiting Canada.

I dont think they ask for original entry date rather they asked last entry date and location and it should be your most recent entry not the first

Did you try to link PR card application? I got eCOPR today with same agent MM

No, they ask for both. Original entry date and the most recent entry along with the port of entry.

I never thought I would say this, but I have officially stopped giving a damn about my permanent residence application. One thing that I learnt throughout this application process is to never be like these IRCC officers or agents, not implying you will keep your job if you do. It feels nauseating to think that some of us will have to go through this ridiculous troll of a government agency for citizenship but that’s a problem for another year, no pun intended. Sit tight, ladies and gentlemen! We are in this mess together now.

PR confirmation portal first email received on : Dec 14, 2020 (by my attorney)
Replied with details on : Dec 16, 2020 (when fwded by attorney)
Credentials received on : Dec 24, 2020
Uploaded my pictures & address same day : Dec 24, 2020

waiting since then for my eCOPR .. etobicoke VO.

Have also sent them an email asking for updates on my PR confirmation portal, IRCC call center agents confirm the reciept of email but have no clue as to when the file will be closed and eCOPR be issued. They just give the same standard answers !!

People waiting in the PR portal have not received their COPR yet. So congratulations to you! You won’t have to go through the PR confirmation portal. Your COPR should have instructions on what to send to the local IRCC office for your PR card, just follow that.

Nope they asked only last time entered in Canada for me ..I just double checked not sure why
