Hi quami, i have been following this thread and it seems you are amongst the very first people to send in your application. I already have all my documentation ready, i am just waiting on my ECA from WES before i send in my application (i am applying from outside Canada).
Please can you tell me if ;
you have already had your medicals done.
Have you gotten any further updates on your case?

I think the processing time starts to count after they send the AOR

Application was submitted in July. They asked for employer's NOA and certificate of employment to prove employer can pay caregiver's salary in October. Until now, haven't heard anything..

My thoughts on the processing time though is this, why ask for candidates to have a job offer when the employer will have to wait this long or even more before the new employee can come over to work.

Business name is employer’s name.

I don't think so an organization can sponsor some one under this pilot program.
E.g. A day care cannot sponsor in this category. This is only for help required in a private place and not commercial.

That's my understanding. I could be wrong. Please make sure somebody is not cheating you.

Pls when you submitted ur application did you pay for study permit for your kids below 4years

I don’t think they specify any age limit. As long as the applicant’s able to meet all the requirements or he/she is eligible to apply I think age is never a problem.

- I was granted a visit visa for 3 years, in case she will process my papers under home child care program, can I still travel to Canada while my work permit is ongoing?
- Is it possible for them to process my work permit as nanny while I am inside Canada as tourist?

does your sister already have LMIA? the process for LMIA and Work Permit might take a long time. you can still travel to visit here but remember that they could scrutinize you at port of entry just to make sure that you are not going to work illegally or stay beyond the alloted period of visit. also TRVs are only good for 6 months (if they wouldn't specify it on your passport) so you might have to extend your stay through visitor records if you wish to stay longer than 6 months.
all I can say is the idea of visiting to working transition is doable but it is a little bit tricky
